Acacia mining getting a battering this morning on their update and increasing tensions with GoT. Reading between the lines it looks like there may have been some dodgy doings in their historical land acquisitions giving the GoT ammunition. Acacia seem to have decided on a more confrontational route too by touting a merger with Randgold.
Maybe there is something to be said for Petra's softly softly approach,after all, a higher tax rate on a very profitable mine is better than nowt ?

Probable positives: Continuing stabilisation, rand, lending, and new appointments ("New non-executive appointments are currently being confirmed with a view to making an announcement in this regard in October 2018")
Probable negatives: Tanzania, parcel, continued accrual of VAT receivables not being paid at approx $5m per Q.

Although it won't have the financials they should be able to put some rhetoric in about how costs have benefited from the rand depreciation.

Nope, nothing big declared and unsold. There is however £15m of diamonds currently sitting around the necks of the mistresses/toy boys of the Govt of Tanzania..... :-D

okay good luck, I've 50k shares at the moment, sold a few recently.

Great to be able to buy below the recent rights issue. The rand should be helping costs, new management, capex spend reducing, at year end i'm not holding my breath but debt should be a little lower.

50 DMA sits at 37.3p so may be a bit of resistance. It seems to be forming a good base down here. Hopefully give it a few more weeks and all the stale longs will be gone and the share price can start a steady rise.
