A possibility is that if PSUS is appropriately funded; it buys stock from PSH, to be liquidated, in part or entirely.

Interesting and looks positive for PSH. Hopefully Bill puts some flesh on the bones either tomorrow or once SEC approval is gained.

Far too complicated to get my head round this new fee structure and what it means for PSH holders at this time of night. Will have another look tomorrow.

@donald pond. Thank you. Very interesting. More may be revealed tomorrow.
Edit. Deleted arbitrage thought as not feasible.

bagouss,
I said " UNTIL a definite reversal " but that has not happened yet as you rightly say :) . I mentioned the piece of string :)

I've heard that before, although doubt anyone would go the lengths of replicating the portfolio. In any case, it would be near impossible to replicate the hedging positions, and any trading activity during the month.

I think it's to stop people just mimicking the portfolio and avoiding fees etc.

Good detective work! I do wish they gave a bit more info on their factsheets. Why so secretive?

Looks like Lowes has been sold. No retail in Jan performance report and positions reduced to 10 from 11

The investor meeting in a week's time should tell us of any pf changes and hedges which could spark more interest and more upside...or not, who knows.

Discount really starting to come in now to about 27% - still wide but better than its average of about 35%. Question is - is this the start of a proper rerating, or will it drift back to its usual 35% level?

This thing is at its best in a market downturn, as I've discovered after having sold it twice when I thought US markets were getting toppy, only to realise afterwards it it was well hedged against a downturn.

So, it's now 5% of my main portfolio at time of purchase (was 10) and I've told myself to run it until/unless there is some major change in it's structure/remit.

Donald,
thanks for commenting . roaring on today and "how long is a piece of string" can be asked again as chart shows a NOR situation :) . I trade this NO stamp duty trust but keep a small core holding until chart shows a definite reversal . Good luck !

And a nice bounce back today. I think a new all time high, discounting a single fat finger transaction.

Buried in on of his very long tweets about Harvard from Jan 3rd
NB I didn't spit this myself, it was in another discussion board, though I did check it.

"We are going to need assistance with a large IPO soon so we are looking forward to working with our favored smaller banks."

Don't know what this is code for...

It makes perfect sense for them to sell some of the shares and buy back their own shares at over 30% discount. That is perhaps what they are doing as they buy back £3 m worth of shares everyday.

Always interesting to see changes in the pf. I wonder if the Sparc is close to a deal.As you say, mid Feb 13f or maybe the Investor presentation on 8th Feb will give us the answer.
