19/2/2024 09:42 | Sure. But I used to do a fair bit of arja is doing, and probably still will with some of my cash if I see an IT opportunity that fits with my intended risk profile, especially if there is no stamp duty. But over the long term I haven't outperformed PSH by doing this. | jellypbean
19/2/2024 09:19 | Yes, that's the challenge But I think if people like arja feel the need to micro manage and operate on a short term basis then PSH affords that opportunity better than anything else I can think of | donald pond
19/2/2024 09:14 | Sure, I've done this in the past myself with this share. However I've lost quite a bit more than that selling it only to see it go up. | jellypbean
19/2/2024 09:06 | The spread and lack of stamp duty make PSH quite tradeable. Anyone selling at 40 and buying now could have added 3/4% to their holding | donald pond
19/2/2024 08:17 | not asking for advice sport but just posing a question FFS ! Anyway , looks like it is drifting lower again but chart still looks quite good. Answer to your silly question is YES but, even if it was not , being a trader means a low risk strategy and you of course will hang on and watch a paper profit evaporate or even let a loss run with some stocks in your portfolio :) | arja
17/2/2024 11:45 | Arja. Shouldn't the question you ask yourself be "do my trading activities outperform the long term record of PSH". If they do, then I'm surprised you are asking this board for advice. If not, then why not just hold? | jellypbean
16/2/2024 19:50 | Just relax and enjoy the ride ! | rickyl1
16/2/2024 15:53 | is the party over for PSH or can the piece of string get even longer ? :) | arja
13/2/2024 16:12 | at times I am glad to be just a day or overnight trader in this stock and a few other NO SD stocks . But I am surprised that PSH hit harder than most stocks today and down almost 3% as US indices tumble. Tempted to buy a few but will review it tomorrow as US might have second wave of selling after UK market closes . good luck to holders | arja
12/2/2024 12:40 | yes , broken through £40 and had the intra day pullback after hitting 4034 . Might stay at this point with US markets closed today unless the futures take off . This is some stock ! | arja
12/2/2024 10:44 | Not bad my trade last week, hit 40, momentum continues. | chc15
09/2/2024 16:09 | PSH ploughing on after the mini correction . I exited my trade at 3926 and failed to re-enter at 3880 as focused on another stock . So will again finish on an ATH and £40 level on the cards next week . | arja
08/2/2024 16:13 | expect the unexpected in markets I guess :) | arja
08/2/2024 15:46 | just arrived home and surprised that PCH hit after US markets opened . Must be down in USA but those who follow it more closely might know | arja
08/2/2024 13:39 | riverman77. because of the other factors but I just trade NO SD stocks using charts and chart tells the story with this stock :) | arja
08/2/2024 13:27 | The PSH listing in Amsterdam is in USD so if you have any dollars, you can buy PSH in dollars. I always think it's good to hold a few currencies in my brokerage account for diversification. I suspect that when the US market opens at 2.30pm UK time, this will move up further because of the general publicity that yesterday's announcement garnered. | apollocreed1
08/2/2024 12:30 | Uk investors also avoid stamp duty and fx costs by going with PSH rather than PSUS.If you hold long term it's not much but shorter term trading saves a few quid. Not sure I'd buy PSUS unless there were some attractive elements not available to PSH. Let's see. | rickyl1
08/2/2024 12:12 | Arja - why would the market be concerned? It is a fee cut, albeit not a huge reduction or a particularly simple one to get your head around. Still should be a small positive overall. No I don't think it will be a mirror fund - will likely hold some of the same positions but not an exact replica. | riverman77
08/2/2024 11:48 | Bought for the first time earlier in the week, just going with the momentum here.. | chc15
08/2/2024 11:32 | market is not concerned judging by today's price action :) | arja
08/2/2024 11:18 | Be interesting see whether it's going to be a mirror fund of PSH or a seperate entity that maybe buys into PSH. | rickyl1
08/2/2024 11:11 | Check the presentation - the US listing is a no-go (hence the launch of a separate US fund). | riverman77
08/2/2024 10:41 | and still edging higher and hopefully will hit £40 level this week. | arja
08/2/2024 10:24 | still kicking on to another ATH in spite of today's news. So now US listing likely it seems . | arja
08/2/2024 09:04 | Looking through the new fee structure - in simple terms looks like a modest reduction in performance fee, but not sure will be enough to fully eradicate the discount (fairly sure the performance fee is why this trades on discount and this small reduction probably won't change that). Could the new vehicle buy up shares in PSH? Given PSH has market cap of 10bn it would have to raise a huge amount of money to make a dent. One other interesting thing on the presentation was the energy hedge - not seen this before. Presumably a hedge agaisnt a spike in oil prices in the event of geopolitical issues. It was a small detractor, which would make sense given oil prices fell last year. | riverman77 |
