03/9/2012 09:08 | Hi Shanklin WH Ireland are the only broker that I know of that cover PEN. But they now have Miles Nolan ex editor from Growth Company Investor who joined in July and is head of their small cap research sector. Miles wrote some positive research notes on PEN when he was with GCI, and I rate him very highly. PEN are so far under the radar, that I believe just one recommedation in SCSW or another publication will really see them move higher. Like LPA when they were recommended imo. ic2... | interceptor2
03/9/2012 09:06 | Yes two more fabulous positives topvest. Tasty divi which is rare in very small-cap stocks on AIM and over £2M cash on the balance sheet. | cfro
03/9/2012 09:01 | Based on a potential dividend of 1.8p this year, a 20% increase over last year, they still yield over 5% which is not bad for a growth stock and one that has an extraordinarily strong balance sheet. | topvest
03/9/2012 08:56 | Thankfully I bought more on Friday. There seems to be a lot of company here for such a small Mkt Cap company, albeit the H1 earnings are still much stronger than I expected. As I was very late to the party here, in all seriousness can anybody advise whether there is ever any sensible broker coverage here. Cheers, Martin | shanklin
03/9/2012 08:54 | Me too. These results were far and away better than i had thought they might be. 2.21p eps already made this half which as topvest says, is what they made for the full year. Brokers, even after significant uplifts in estimates are forecasting eps for this financial year of 3.2p. That is going to utterly smashed now. I reckon 4.4p eps will be a minimum now. | cfro
03/9/2012 08:47 | If this was a larger company with such a growth record it would be far higher price. If they make over 4p for the full year, which looks very possible, current pe is still only around 9! I have added also. | royaloak
03/9/2012 08:27 | Added to my holdings here after solid results this morning, better than I had expected. Nice divi increase by 20%, and impressive margin increase to 8.2% giving EPS of 2.21p. Should see a decent increase in broker estimates now. ic2... | interceptor2
03/9/2012 08:27 | Fantastic set of interim results. Made 2p EPS in H1 which is what they managed for the full year last year. | topvest

29/8/2012 08:48 | Those early sells giving a good opportunity to buy some more here, I missed the opportunity to top up but decided last night after my second purchase yesterday that I want more of these. My C21 money needs a home. ic2... | interceptor2
29/8/2012 08:44 | Great news again from pennant. | topvest
29/8/2012 08:43 | Yeah, me too, not quite quick enough to grab 33p. Had to pay 34p for my batch. | cfro
29/8/2012 08:37 | Damn, just missed 33p on the offer. | shanklin
28/8/2012 15:49 | "revenues and profits for 2012 are likely to exceed current market expectations" This is what I have been waiting for, and did buy more at the open. Interims are due 3rd September. ic2... | interceptor2
28/8/2012 12:43 | Wish I'd taken more notice of these previously, they look a nice little company. Have opened a position and will buy more on weakness not that I expect any. | shanklin
28/8/2012 08:14 | Yet another positive trading statement, blue sky ahead. | royaloak
06/7/2012 17:48 | Not sure if there will be another ts or not but year end is June. These must be doing exceptionally well to put out an 'exceed' statement in May so early to end of first half. | cfro
06/7/2012 17:30 | Welcome cfro, I hadn't known a trading statement was due next week, when you consider that the May update said "revenues in 2012 are now likely to exceed current market expectations" after only the first quarter. Will they have enough confidence to say that profits are likely to exceed current market expectations? If so then your timing should be very good. BTW, I did buy into SID today. ic2... | interceptor2
06/7/2012 16:11 | Bought a small initial holding this afternoon. Not easy to buy either. Great looking share this trading extremely well. Pe less than 10. Trading update due next week? | cfro
30/5/2012 17:37 | The important words in that are "up to"! It's extremely common for companies to actually buy back far fewer than they're authorised to... Gengulphus | gengulphus
29/5/2012 20:49 | Since the AGM on 15th May that authorised market purchases of up to 15 per cent of the Company's Ordinary Shares = 3,965.045. PEN have brought back 59,500 shares on three seperate days, only 3,906.045 to go. Will provide solid support to the share price this year. ic2... | interceptor2
26/5/2012 07:58 | Could be looking at a 2p+ dividend this year then. | topvest
25/5/2012 17:07 | Found the recent estimates from W H Ireland. See below. 2012, PBT = £1.20m and EPS = 3.31p 2013, PBT = £1.30m and EPS = 3.59p A 20% increase in 2012 estimates so early in the finacial year is very encouraging for further increases later this year imo. ic2... | interceptor2 |
