07/10/2010 08:39 | zztop - 6 Oct'10 - 22:05 - 110 of 116 "short to medium term" , now would that mean news is imminent? Outlook The Group has a number of excellent opportunities in the UK and abroad and is very well placed as the potential supplier on two major contracts in the UK. Defence spending in the UK is currently subject to a major review, however, your Board remains optimistic of significant orders in the providing visibility of work running forward from 2011. The Group is well placed to take advantage of these opportunities backed by an excellent reputation, a strong balance sheet and a healthy cash position Thats my take on it zz | fortune44
07/10/2010 08:36 | Current Trading Our strategy of building strong relationships with prime contractors and original equipment manufacturers has not only produced improved results during the period, but has also given the Group a strong pipeline of good prospects with both new and existing customers | fortune44

06/10/2010 21:25 | Hi Boadicea, i remember when these were trading at +£2.25 some year ago..don't think they've consolidated since those days....think this will start hitting the radar...company was upbeat in their last t/s, so i expect these to trade much higher now we have a break out signal, imo:-) Company is very confident and there are probably less shares in public circulation than at any time. So could easily go back to £2 plus on good contracts | fortune44
06/10/2010 21:22 | Fund1, M/Cap is a tiny 4.2 million | fortune44

06/10/2010 19:36 | Boadicea, lots of cash, buying back stock and... 06/10/2010 18:13 | pre - "looking back at historical charts, these were trading at a staggering +£2.25 over 5yrs ago" My current 'core' holding was bought for 9p in 2002. I bought others later and sold them at around 30p near to their 2007 peak of 38p - the all-time high afaik. I did consider buying more recently as they were looking good value but with impending defence cuts I went for various pm miners (MARL, MIRL, PGD, MML, AGQ) instead. Still, it's good to see my core holding back in positive territory again - and a useful divi. | boadicea
06/10/2010 17:29 | Thanks Gengulphus, exciting day. Lets hope for same tomorrow. | fortune44
06/10/2010 17:01 | fortune44, Ah, I see. The explanation is that that "XD" marker doesn't just mark the ex-dividend date - it lasts the entire time that shares trade "ex-dividend", i.e. from the ex-dividend date until the day the dividend is actually paid (which is Friday 15th October).
