Strange that there's not been a single post on this list during all the excitement.

"CAR dealership group Pendragon is hunting for more acquisitions with the hope of overcoming tough market conditions.

The group, which operates under the Evans Halshaw and Stratstone brands, has been hit by a slowdown in consumer demand following recent interest rate hikes and saw pre-tax profits slip from £51.5m to £33.5m in the six months to June 30.

But shares jumped 10 per cent as chief executive Trevor Finn said he was seeking acquisition opportunities as difficult trading conditions forced small players out of the market."

The fact that this has dropped below £1 is quite worrying. It's fallen almost 30% over the past 3 months. What's the chances we'll see +£1 again soon ? Or is it likely to remain dormant at these levels for the short term ? tia
