Nothing to do with the company! It's Teresa's speech! Give it a few days and it will be up

I don't like this 1.3% down every day as it's eroding a good gain, and i'm not skilled enough to trade it and finish the day with more shares, however, it would be just my luck to take profits on the day a merger is announced. I like to think it would be closer to March, but it could really by anytime i guess...?

No change in short position as of today's disclosure. Surprising the 2 large Friday buys have not been disclosed yet.

Interesting to see there have been no director buys since the TU. Maybe precluded due to acquisition in the offing?

So it seems most are either frightened of shorters taking a position or shorters closing out a position.

If I was short this stock, I'd be frightened of cash generation, reduction in debt, rapidly rising EPS and the likelihood of a significant acquisition.

The market is a buyer of cash after all.

Looking back, it seems that in Nov 2014 before the 23 March 2015 announcement of the Skrill purchase, the share price drifted from its year high after the autumn trading statement, much the same as it did in 2016 (albeit with the help of the shorters), and it was the skrill announcement that bounced it back to meet its all time high.

Without considering anything more circumstantial, etc, in simple terms, i expect the announcement of a good buy-out to bounce this back to the 2016 high of 469.

Being a fairly new holder of PAYS (October 16), do any of the LTH's expect similar?

No longer loss-making - profitable in 2016 - with enormous forward potential - hopefully set to realised in 2017 onwards . Sorry to all -OT

EH9 As ihatemms has mentioned ALT is a good share which I bought within all my portfolios a couple of months ago, this has now almost doubled in that time. Also CAKE and IGR which are both up over 20% since buying in the same time frame, there are others such as STAF/RBG which are nearing 20% gains since i bought within the last couple of months or so. Another one to look at is DISTIL a great growth share that Miton is major holder in. It is up over 20% just today! All solid growth shares, I could continue....

Indeed Nurdin thanks, I feel better not worrying about it, I held £10k, might not be a lot but I feel better now. I do look after a few portfolios for family which still hold some PAYS shares but mostly I have reduced them to small amounts to run for free, I bought pre Skrill/share offer days. In total I'm looking after £250k and it's not easy. I've averaged 14% pa over the past 3 years, not spectacular but I am happy for now. GLA.

Frank the equation is paysafe offers realistic potential 100% upside with limited downside. Always interested to hear if there is a better share out there?

Frank, the best justification for selling out is that you feel comfortable with it,nothing else matters really.

Wolfhound1, shorters leave a bad smell in the air, OK I get a lot have been burned but is it worth dabbling with all this uncertainty? I much rather go elsewhere for better returns with less risk that's all I'm saying.
