07/1/2017 11:54 | ACQUISITION AND BUYBACK FIREPOWER: £100m leaves over $1.1bn firepower.Paysafe have said they can borrow 2.5x proforma ebitda i.e. $293m x 2.5 x 2 (if target same size ebitda potential as Paysafe) - $150m debt outstanding at April 2017 = $1.3bn acquisition or higher if there were a rights and or some shares involved too. | eh9
07/1/2017 11:28 | Guys. 07/1/2017 09:20 | Don't think they would nap or tip it as it's no longer a small company. | melf
07/1/2017 09:15 | No, not as a Nap. | lomax99
07/1/2017 08:50 | Malcolmmm, was it recommended by SCSW as a nap? | redlee
07/1/2017 08:43 | If they did pay a divi that would mean all those shorters would have to pay up. Soon close their positions then!!! | oohrogerpalmer
07/1/2017 00:19 | According to SCSW brokers say that they have 1bn to spend on an acquisition and that PAYS is generating phenomenal amounts of cash. | malcolmmm
07/1/2017 00:11 | One of the positive in paying dividends is that open the way to some funds that can only buy share in dividends paying company Special one will not do that, I suspect with it is difficult to purchase a company that has similar pe than pays so any purchase will have an immediate effect as dilution unless paid in cash without issuing and more share clearly wise acquisition are key to the future in most company. I suspect pays at the moment is more likely to be a prey than a predator Time will tell for now I will keep sitting on this holding and if goes anywhere near 450 I will be selling what I buy on our bad day at 273. And keep my original stake Good luck you all | jovi1
06/1/2017 18:44 | Let's hope both happen this week ......a purchase and a really upbeat statement | 2bluelynn
06/1/2017 18:43 | Thanks Ralph understood . Have a great week end | 2bluelynn
06/1/2017 18:35 | @2bluelynn - normally with a dividend the share price falls by about the same as the dividend because it reduces the companies assets. The best action to increase the share price is either announcing profits are way ahead of forecast or buying another company on the cheap. | ralphmalph
06/1/2017 18:23 | Don't want to sound daft so please someone put me right But a special dividend would be good for all would it not . Can they give a dividend to holders say on the register in December 2016 or does it have to be a future date ? I.e. Feb or march this year . I suppose if a future date it means people might bye in and it hurts the shorters . I do hope there's a nice surprise like this in the trading update due next week . | 2bluelynn
06/1/2017 16:54 | PEPM dropped from 1.90% to 1.83% | redlee
06/1/2017 16:43 | Even if its a 'one off dividend' it will hurt the shorters considerable | malcolmmm
06/1/2017 16:37 | Shore Capital said they expect pays to announce a maiden dividend, I wonder if this is still on the cards after the buybacks. Can not see it myself. | heliweli
06/1/2017 16:11 | They should stick to the 12th. Hopefully looking forward to SCSW..... | lomax99
06/1/2017 16:03 | Would be quite unusual and unprofessional for them to announce trading update on any other day than the 12th January as that's the date published on their website. Just my opinion. | filmster
06/1/2017 15:43 | Chance that they bring the ts out on Monday / announce sage pay deal Monday.... | eh9
06/1/2017 15:31 | Graham Spooner, investment research analyst at The Share Centre, said investors should 'continue to expect the unexpected in 2017' and 'trust their instincts' on whether they feel the index has gone too far.'A number of stocks have reacted to recent events; for example, share prices have already reflected the potential good news of a pro-business US president and this has particularly benefited internationally focused companies,' he said.'As an investor you need to ask yourself how much this has already been priced in.'He added that rising commodity prices and currency movements played a big part in the fate of the FTSE 100 but were 'notoriously hard to predict'.For investors who have faith that the FTSE has more to go, Spooner recommended financial stocks, such as St James's Place (SJP) and Experian (EXPN) as 'medium-risk picks' and Paysafe (PAYS) 'at the higher end of the risk spectrum'. | eh9 |
