surprised no one on here has yet mentioned Worldpay's 2 week outage affecting gambling merchant customers, as reported in the FT and highlighted in CityAM this morning.

probably helps PAYS and Skrill's salespeople

thanks RalphM -

What struck me is the amount of institutional/fund holding - that seems to have climbed significantly in the last 6 months and now stands at 60% +

% Owned by Institutions 61.39
% Owned by Funds 64.49

One of the previous reasons for discounting a take over was that the institutional/fund holding was well below 50% ( from memory I think it was 35%) - looks like that is no longer the case if I am reading this correctly

...interesting times ahead !!!

To continue Franklin offloaded 7mill, looks like fidelity have offloaded 10mill and kames have offloaded 12mill.

Big new ownerships by Scottish Equitable, Investec and Danske.

Looking at the ownership it seems that Franklin small cap fund has been off loading a significant amount of shares, 7mill so far still holding 11mill.

This could because it is a small cap fund and with entry to the 250 PAYS no longer qualifies to be held. So perhaps there is an overhang of stock that is being offloaded by these small cap funds and until this has been absorbed by the market the price is being kept down.

have managed to buy and sell this share 4 times this week with a fair profit each time.
Seems to have a large fall during the early part of the day and then tends to rise early afternoon and then begin to drop towards end of trading day.
Still holding onto a few in case of sudden RNS.
Intend to buy some more next week hopefully lower than today and then to hold unto results day

so here are the 2015 numbers for Wirecard - valued at €4.9bn

WIRECARD GROUP 2015
Revenues 771,340 kEUR
EBITDA 227,315 kEUR
EBIT 172,844 kEUR
EAT 142,646 kEUR

Earnings per share (undiluted) 1.16EUR

Paysafe projected for 2016 - market value of £ 1.83bn ( €2.2bn) or about half MV of Wirecard

Revenues $950m - $970m
EBITDA $270m - $276m

Wirecard's business model is certainly no less complex/risky than PAYS

So on that basis - and even allowing for the €300mn of remaining debt - PAYS should be worth about the same as Wirecard at €4.8bn - or double where we are at present !! roll on the half yr update so full numbers can be compared

Thanks Melf - A comparative table to peers out 2/3 yrs by Deutsche would go a long way to addressing EH9 very valid points

.......seems some analysts only want to opine after the fact - when results are achieved - to my mind that is not analysis it is scorekeeping

Have to say Deutsche seem to have done precious little in educating the market about PAYS value since becoming joint broker in March that I have seen - anyone seen any articles/updates from them ?

This is starting to pop up on global top 10 players reviews and is therefore about to undergo the associated rerating over the next six months. Once h1 results out all the stock screens will pick up the screaming value and delivery track record whereas at the moment due to 2015 integration costs etc there are no bau financials demonstrating the very low pe for those that don't read analyst projections

Hold, hold, hold! Our time will come, too risky to try and trade this!My £5 target will be hit at some point this year, at which point I'll take some profit as expect to be earning dividend and well over £7 next year once online gambling is legalised in the US.Roll on interim results
