13/11/2016 12:53 | It was obvious they needed to save one trading statement to be in line and by having it the date of the USA election they gave a very strong steer it was going to be in line....suspect they will exceed a billion sales and 30% margin at the 8th January but word on the street seems to be they are pregnant with the next deal.... | eh9
13/11/2016 12:01 | So PEPM - has no executives or managers that you can find on google. Indicates to me it's part of a bigger group- wonder who? Well there are only 2 shorters you can find with 'Public equity management' in their name - oh yes it's Bain and -PEPM. Coincidence or are they connected? One shorting to allow the other to buy big stock at a discount? Only 7 weeks ( only 6 if you take out xmas and NY) to next trading statement- which going by the company's history - could well be an 'ahead' statement. | ihatemms
12/11/2016 23:06 | Thanks johnv. | ihatemms
12/11/2016 22:08 | There was no recommendation this month but they do hold 2 holdings in their portfolio, one at 200 p and the other at 370p. | johnv
12/11/2016 20:31 | we may be due a broad market correction very soon in which case 330p may be a decent entry point for a short term trade? | lw425
12/11/2016 19:45 | Johnv - did they have a buy or hold recommendation ? TIA | ihatemms
12/11/2016 19:37 | A tiny mention in momentum investor today , about more acquisitions likely. | johnv
12/11/2016 16:30 | Yes, I agree ,lomax99. Thank you for posting an opinion. | dogwalker
12/11/2016 16:11 | Sheldon is probably behind Trump, Turkey's don't vote for Christmas - unless they think they can capture a significant amount of the online market, Land based casino owners vested interests give them more than enough incentive to attempt to frustrate progress in US online gaming. Thankfully our current, poor, rating completely discounts the prospect of progress on this anytime soon. | lomax99
12/11/2016 15:33 | So, all in all, what,zcaprd7? Is it good news or bad news? (Do you think people have the time to read all of your - yawn - interesting if lengthy post?) Casinos! | dogwalker
11/11/2016 18:27 | Decent bounce on Monday morning. This is a fast growing tech stock, volatility comes with the territory. Make it work to your advantage! | seans66
11/11/2016 17:46 | Summing up this week: Company confirms trading in line with upgraded forecasts. Fundamentals remain very strong here. Edison latest note (9 November) leaves forecasts unchanged, and restates PAYS is trading on a discount to its peer group on ALL VALUATION METRICS - this discount is most marked for p/e. If the Company was aware of anything price sensitive an RNS would have already been released. Bain Capital building a significant position in the Company. Shorters increased positions to over 5%. So on the 1 hand we've got the company confirming its in line to deliver solid, upgraded results for FY16 plus a significant new major shareholder. On the other we've got a hedge fund increasing its short position, and a US election result that was totally unexpected. So I'm seeing short term "noise" winning the battle with longer term fundamentals. At some point that will change, and based on previous bounces, probably sooner rather than later. 11/11/2016 17:28 | I topped up at 399 - and on down it went. Quite a lot of large buys at 390 | malreid
11/11/2016 17:20 | After this week's drop culminating in a 5% fall today I would have expected a reassuring statement particularly from a FTSE 250 company. | f1araway
11/11/2016 16:27 | India could be a big market for PAYS very soon. I am holding on to my shares. SECURE wallets. No paper money ? Paper money is useless there at the moment. Sacks of money being set on fire today !!!! ATB. | bwana4
11/11/2016 16:27 | Dial moving acquisition had been mentioned for this quarter.More debt and/or shares? | geraldus
11/11/2016 16:19 | How long is a piece of string redless? It could come at anytime but what will also eventually come is a big reversal when the market finally decides that this it too cheap!! The question is at what price will that be?Shorters will eventually change their position also.... b45t4rds!! Was really hoping that they'd get a good squeezing!!! | jarega85
11/11/2016 16:19 | we have already had a positive RNS in line with previous guidance! I wonder more what has been said in the investor meetings following that as the sell off looks odd and worrying... | qs99
11/11/2016 16:06 | looks like 370s 360s on the cards next week unless we get a positive RNS | stockbob
11/11/2016 16:00 | If this is a situation where the shorts are in place to bring the price down for a bid, when do you think we will see the bid materialise? | redlee
11/11/2016 15:45 | someone doesn't like them! but at $1.25 ex rate, they are roughly saying £234m EBITDA and only have c.£309m of net debt from half year...so at £1,900m market cap they are on 9X EV/EBITDA.....p/e is a lowly number as some have pointed out....given they only updated a day or so ago, I would like to think nothing is "amiss" and therefore either it is good value now vs its peers, or not. Or people think there is trouble coming further down the line and have sold/selling....DYOR on all the above....am holding on to mine, despite the "ouch" element of seeing it 10% off over last week or so...gla | qs99
11/11/2016 15:44 | Sold this morning. Uneasy about the steady drop without knowing the real reason why. May get back in another time if it drops far enough. GLA. | keyno
11/11/2016 15:42 | I just hate shorters when I think of how much money they have screwed me out of in the past. I should have known when the shorts were rising to get out. Only safe thing to do. | pshevlin |
