09/11/2016 07:25 | FTSE forecast to be down about 220 at the moment - for some reason I was expecting much worse than that for a Trump victory. Will be interesting to see if uk fund managers buy the dip like they did at Brexit - on the basis that fund managers are awash with cash at the moment according to recent stats. Interesting morning in store! | stuart37
09/11/2016 07:13 | Exactly what I've said in the past EH9. Trump's presidency will undoubtedly need revenue to fuel is expected spending intentions and legalising gambling is one quick way of doing that.Good for PAYS in my view, we just need to ride the expected roller coaster this morning. Dependant on what we see may see a top up from me to try and make some quick cash. | jarega85
09/11/2016 06:54 | The trump induced decline in the $ will inflate Paysafe's results e.g. Fx this morning Adds 2% from European revenue being converted into $ at more favorable fx rate. Trump must also be pro USA gambling..... | eh9
08/11/2016 21:47 | One possible reason to suppress the share price of this share is to make a mean offer look generous! | boadicea
08/11/2016 16:43 | Paysafe Group was another faller despite an upbeat third-quarter update. The payment solutions provider said it remained on track to hit upgraded full year numbers but its shares continued to retreat from the 18-month high reached last month.Analysts at Canaccord Genuity explained: "While it is encouraging that guidance has been maintained, we believe there was a market expectation for an upgrade to full year expectations. We note that this management team has proven to be conservative and we believe that there is still a possibility that the full year could beat the top end of current guidance." | eh9
08/11/2016 16:34 | agree napoleon....not sure why they have not had a go | qs99
08/11/2016 16:26 | I'm as confident as most here. Not reacting to "noise". I'd really like to see PAYS listing on NASDAQ - That'll do more than dividend or share buyback IMO & won't cost as much either. However, it could seriously boost share price | napoleon 14th
08/11/2016 15:58 | I've added this afternoon. No business reason for the sell-off that I can see. Sentiment only. Expecting an upgrade in November when year-end is 31 December is just crazy. Trading in-line is excellent at this late stage. Expecting great things in 2017. | mrwhippey
08/11/2016 15:11 | They are 3 Tmt investor gatherings and the same ones are in worldpay's investor calendar. A roadshow is something organised by the company's own ir team which these are not. The company is poised for the big time in h1 next years but it takes patience. | eh9
08/11/2016 15:03 | With 3 TMT roadshows in 3 weeks we can probably start to see more Analysts reaching those same observations -that can only be good - but we may need to accept that if we get acquired at these levels plus a 30% premium then we will be selling cheaply compared to potential long term gain. | wolfhound1
08/11/2016 14:39 | have to say, given the current growth profile of the business and debt reducing materially, unless there are headwinds not yet fully understood my all, then these look cheap IMO vs its peer group still....if that is true, then IMO someone will snap them up...let's see....a yield would be nice at some point or indication of such as long as it didn't suggest growth was slowing...DYOR etc | qs99
08/11/2016 14:31 | This company doesn't pay dividends because it says shareholders better served by spending cashflow on acquisitions. Been very good so far... but by year end net debt will be only 1x ebitda, the shares are on 13x '16 earnings, 10x ev/ebitda and 11.6 x '17 earnings. Hard to believe they can find shares/acquisitions to buy cheaper than their own so maybe time to wheel out the share buyback? | tradertrev
08/11/2016 12:10 | Yes, it's amazing how some expect upgrades every 3 months. You'd expect management to be able to accurately forecast over such a short time-frame, particularly as they report in dollars, nullifying the (positive) exchange rate movement. The odd upside surprise is welcome of course, but a management who changed their forecast every 3 months would look incompetent - you couldn't believe a word they said. I'm more interested in the 12 month trend than the 12 day one. | mrwhippey
08/11/2016 12:07 | Has to be approaching oversold territory if it's not already there.Been here many times before and will hold for the cream! | jarega85
08/11/2016 11:47 | Guess that's what happens when you release an "in line" with upgraded expectations trading update! If you can see your way through the current noise I'm sure the cream will rise to the top in due course. | melf
08/11/2016 11:38 | £4 by end of day at this rate. | heliweli
08/11/2016 11:19 | I am out 420 was my limit. I see no reason for the large drop today but am not willing to let my stake drop back to break even. | salpara111
08/11/2016 11:16 | Snorters in full control now. 418P and falling fast. | lw425
08/11/2016 11:13 | Here we go, two more days like this. £4. | heliweli
08/11/2016 10:17 | Trading is fine, but the two funds building shorts appear to see something most aren't. You have to take note when funds start shorting, but I'm not at all convinced they're doing the right thing here. I think the strong trading will continue and those funds shorting better start praying for a Trump win. I'll be going long here on the current weakness when the election outcome is known. Muppet fund mangler shorts to get smashed here is my call. | sphere25
08/11/2016 10:02 | This will now be messed around with until further news. | pshevlin
08/11/2016 09:55 | Wait for £4. | heliweli
08/11/2016 09:50 | At times like this I just look at the rating, see if anything has changed and then decide if the share is worth holding, discarding or adding. On current forecasts the stock is trading at just 11.8x 2017 earnings which imo seriously underrates the share. Also no negatives have emerged that I can see.I am therefore getting ready to add despite my already a decent holding. | nurdin
08/11/2016 09:33 | Well, if they are planning on getting a Nasdaq listing they had better get on with it! The shorters are not going to let go now so something needs to happen to reverse the trend. I fully expect to be selling out at the end of the day given the opening performance but I would definitely buy back in if they were to announce a dual listing as the US is rather more likely to place a more optimistic valuation on the business. I guess the absence of the divi is a big factor here and one of the reasons why I am not willing to continue holding as the share price drops and I guess I am not alone in feeling that way. I am not suggesting that they should pay one at present but equally if they are a growth stock the share price should be rising. | salpara111
08/11/2016 09:15 | Interesting stuff EH9. Maybe the NASDAQ listing isn't too far away. | melf |
