06/7/2016 13:41 | Just noticed that AEK have gone short on the stock by 1.6% since the 14th June. May account for extra volatility. | ![]() pshevlin
06/7/2016 11:14 | Agreed - with GBP at a 30 yr low and PAYS firing on all cylinders - won't be long before PAYS becomes a target IMHO Or as mentioned already there is a case for the Board to seek a cross listing to Nasdaq/NYSE - which I think is a more natural fit for a company like PAYS - its where our peers are and therefore we would see an immediate re-rating Post Brexit we have outgrown FTSE250 in the same way as we outgrew AIM with the acquisition of Skrill | ![]() wolfhound1
06/7/2016 10:40 | imo this fall is not company specific. If you look at the volumes that have taken this down they are measly. As others have pointed out the company is likely to benefit from weaker Sterling. It's very easy to look at all the negativity surrounding Brexit in the UK but it aint gonna stop people gambling in China or sending money from Germany to Turkey! Personally, I think the MM s are using this as opportunity to soak up cheap stock. We know that the company is trading ahead of expectation. I'm quite happy to sit and wait for the next trading update or the H1 results. Long term holders would have seen moves similar to this all too often. | ![]() melf

06/7/2016 10:24 | I remind myself, when the share price is in one of its downturns its very easy to lose sight of what we have and where the share price might be going. All updates are positive indicating a great set of results with better than market growth. also if one looks at the graph, how much furthur down is it likely to go? This is a 6 month chart. Suuprt level at this poiint also go back to Oct, Nov and DEc when it was touched and more recently Feb May and June. (shown in chart) Lets see. | ![]() propercharlie
06/7/2016 09:57 | China will be online before the Yanks, Never known a country where they make online gambling illegal then stand by and watch their citizens spending billions doing it !!!!! Now , If they said they would shoot everybody that won it would probably pass senate tomorrow as they wouldn't want to upset anybody on their gun laws !!!!!!!!!!!! | ![]() oohrogerpalmer
06/7/2016 09:36 | Should have put money into gold miners before the vote. I would have doubled it by now. Hindsight eh ! | ![]() pshevlin
06/7/2016 08:58 | To think.....everyone couldn't wait for this to go into the 250 a few months ago. Having said that, I don't think it would have fared much better on AIM. | ![]() melf

06/7/2016 08:33 | Itr seems to me now that a NASDAQ listing is the way to go for this and several other stocks that I have. It can now only be good for the British investor to have their holdings denominated in $ rather than £. When the 250 goes down here we get dragged down with it and while that might be good for traders it does nothing for buy and hold investors like me. | ![]() pshevlin
05/7/2016 14:50 | I would suggest that Pennsylvania is our best short term hope, given that they've just passed a budget with a big income hole in it and the Governor says he won't sign it off until he sees some evidence of a revenue stream to pay for it all. Hopefully this will be sufficient incentive to get the Bill over Senate opposition but.....I'm still in agreement with Pokerupdate.com who wrote recently "Don't be beguiled by those that say "legislation is right around the corner" because it isn't happening in 2016. At the close of this year, unfortunately, many of the legislative efforts discussed above will "die" at the close of their current legislative sessions if no action is taken. Ergo, we'll have to start the same song and dance in 2017...but hopefully with a bit more momentum than we've previously seen"Once again though I'd be delighted to be wrong about that view! | ![]() mip55
05/7/2016 14:33 | Reynoldsg - 04 Jul 2016 - 16:14 - 2611 of 2618 - 0Which is the first state to vote on gambling and when is it?Hi Reynoldsg..... I'll have a goNew York, as you probably know passed A10736 DFS Bill on June 18th but online gambling didn't succeed . The DFS Bill is waiting to be called by Governor Cuomo who, once he receives it, has ten days to pass it into law or veto it. As yet he hasn't called for it.Pennsylvania Bill HB2150, which combines DFS with online gambling passed the House stage on 29th June and went to the Senate Committee on Community Economic and Recreational Development. The Legislature website says there are no meetings of this committee scheduled at present.....so watch this space.California Bill AB2863 has big problems which have been highlighted on the board with competing factions of American Indian Tribes. A compromise could not be overcome before the legislature went into recess on July 2nd. They return on 31st July when they have just a month to overcome opposition and get the Bill through. | ![]() mip55
05/7/2016 12:21 | Unfortunately as a member of FTSE250 share price is being treated the same as domestic exposed UK business i.e. UK Builders - in fact our share price should be more closely correlated to FTSE100 companies which are not closely correlated to UK Domestic situation as we only derive 5% of revenue from the UK. The positive here is that the share price will ratchet up quite quickly once investors realise the share price is oversold due to incorrect correlation assumptions by the market A timely trading statement might just do the trick - GLA | ![]() wolfhound1
05/7/2016 11:10 | I know it sounds odd, but volumes to day and yesterday both showed more buys than sells. Pattern indicates that the Trades are set to drop the price and then accumulate | ![]() propercharlie
05/7/2016 09:28 | They said something similar on the 23rd of May 2015 in relation to last year's results : "Half Year results for the existing Optimal Payments businesses to 30 June 2015 are expected to be announced on 26 August 2015." .. yet we also got an update on the 3rd July | ![]() wolfhound1

04/7/2016 14:36 | Thankfully PAYS only has 5% exposure to the UK economy so even a 10% pull back in the underlying UK economy only equates to half of one percent - which is just not material or worth fretting about | ![]() wolfhound1
