We have seen no less than 6 sharp drops followed by immediate recover in the past 12 months - with share price risen from a low of around 225p to a peak of 439p in that same period

So the more they hold it back the higher it will rise - results out in under a month so I suspect we will see it rise up to about 420 or so in the interim and then we will get another sharp spike once results are out - hopefully new highs

Despite all the good news in the past 6 months we are flat on share price yet our peers are up 20-40% so all being well we should see a large rise in the not too distant future.

EH9 - thanks for clarifying - your math was up 10% ( 560 to 616) but the note said 20%

PAYS is trailing its peers by 20-40% over last 6 months

PAYPAL : 20%
VNTV ; 30%
GVC 40%

Hi Jarega - as far as I know GVC suspended paying a dividend when it bought betfair.

I hope you are right that the market will self correct - personally I think the time is right to move to a US listing - at least that way we remove the Brexit drag and get our selves re-rated in line with peers.

EH9 - has it spot on Analysts target should be 20% higher than where they are due to FX gain alone - add in a rerating and I believe those targets should be even higher.

Lets see what the lead up to the results brings over next 4 weeks - I will be disappointed if we do not hit new highs.

With 95% of profits in $ or euro and both of these up 20% vs £, that 560p analyst target should be 616p today.

Bloomberg reiterated this morning shares reporting in $ will benefit from weaker £ worth 20p on this at least.

Interesting. I do believe we are undervalued and the recent events haven't help us though which is what I believe has held us back.Dividend Yield is one of the reasons but we have a substantial amount of debt from the Skrill acquisition and although we hope to be debt free at the end of next year, I think the risk is reflective of our share price With the continuous positive trading updates leading to de-risking and reducing debt and hopefully the introduction of dividend next year will see the share price more realistically reflect our true value.

Any views why GVC is valued at almost the same as PAYS yet has only about 1/3 of its Revenue and EBITDA ?

This report argues well for PAYS in the coming month :

GVC just reported v good results :

Commenting on H1 corporate performance Kenneth Alexander, CEO of GVC Holdings stated:

“I am pleased to report that in the first half of 2016 GVC has continued to deliver positive trading momentum. Q2 was particularly strong, helped by increasing volumes and favourable sports results during Euro 2016.

Their share price has outperformed PAYS by about 40% in last 6 months - so we have some catching up to do - 600p for PAYS should make it about even

only 4 weeks today - I wouldn't want to be sitting on the side lines in the interim - when JL et co are as quiet as this it usually means there is a deal happening in the background...

normal pattern, walk down share price for next week or so then sharp rise towards trading statement then 4.00 will be a thing of the past especially with conversion from $ to £ being so beneficial.
