Johnv - more likely they wanted to get over 12% so they can add more substantial holdings at future points without the need for a RNS and so alerting the market. If they are a buyer then they will be looking to avoid any publicity to keep the share price low whilst they continue to add.

Thanks Mike. I'm still interested. As you say buy and hold. But a trader personally.

I'd be waiting for it to bounce off the trend line before buying in I think;

Currantly (pun intended) this share is as flakey as one of PV's mille feuille cakes, DLUK.
I'm thinking of investing in the awful Greggs as some sort of stodgy hedge at mo.

Cyman - I'm not sure they are disposals per se. The last para suggests that the 'Concert Party' cannot acquire more shares. Can anyone clarify what is happening?

Any views on the huge disposals by bod today? Is it just an excuse to top slice?

pshevlin,

As someone who worked around the corner I am surprised at the "it is a trial store" comment.

It opened (from memory) in Spring last year.

Reply to concerns from PatVal

"Thank you for your email. I am sorry you were not happy with our Manchester Oxford Street store.

I can confirm that this particular store, is in fact a trial store, in a trial location, aimed more at the takeaway. Please be assured all feedback is taken on board and passed to the relevant management teams.

Please once again accept our apologies, and thank you again for the feedback."

At least they got back to me and to some extent it explains the issues that raised my concerns but I still think it wouldn't be too onerous to provide better cutlery. After all eat in customers are paying a premium.

What does it cost to put a small dishwasher into these smaller premises?
If these are the first port of call for customers they may not come back.
No reply as yet from HQ!

The plastic cutlery is supplied in premises which have no kitchens I have learnt from my own researches. Yes, no kitchens.
