26/3/2020 12:23 | I couldn't believe my ears, I heard Luke Johnson on the radio a few days ago giving out advice about what to do in this crash! Plainly a Teflon Luke. | lefrene
11/3/2020 16:45 | And another one? Car dealer Lookers sees share price plunge 20% and delays results after finding suspected fraud in its books | pvb

11/3/2020 07:46 | London has the reputation for being a great destination in which to defraud shareholders. Perpetrators are rarely caught and never get properly punished - the odd slap on the wrist with a paltry fine, never jail time. | phowdo
11/3/2020 06:33 | NMC is Same nonsense scam as Luke Johnson CAKE | onjohn
27/2/2020 18:08 | Another cake type scandal | onjohn
17/2/2020 10:19 | The problem here is as always it has become a criminal matter. The SFO will not share anything with other parties. They will not even agree to release cheques etc.Until they actually charge or drop the case any Accountant/Solicitor pursuing the case is hamstrung. I do agree that Luke should have spotted this, but remember at the time they started this game he was very busy with being one of the great and good,Chairman Channel 4 etc. It is going to be a test of the Civil system as to any recovery for shareholders and creditors. In there case of OEM RSM received over £1 million in fees and there was no benefit to creditors or shareholders. They also did not get the Insolvency Department to take action against the Directors. | sandy133
17/2/2020 08:58 | Sounds like its good news for Johnson then...secured his family's future...nice holidays/villas/ the works...... | meijiman

16/2/2020 19:35 | The FCA has no appetite to show that there are indeed crooks in the City , hence the rather muted response to get LJ in front of a Beek. | jotoha2
16/2/2020 18:37 | you would think this would be on the news somewhere | red5
14/1/2020 17:16 | Anyone doing time in the slammer for this scandal yet? Or will the old school tie and some funny handshakes let the culprits get off Scot free? | gustavfenk
09/12/2019 15:05 | Read 'snake oil salesman'! | konradpuss
09/12/2019 14:25 | Well I guess their PV location on Cheltenham's upper High St was about par for the course for financial decisions. The place is still empty after about 6 months on the market, heavens one would think a location capable of taking £200 an hour every hour of the trading week would be snapped up! I was amazed a week or two back to see an LJ column still appearing in the Sunday Times offering pearls of 'wisdom'! The mans in the same class as one Tony Bliar. | lefrene
29/11/2019 13:14 | "and the shield of justice"......... | konradpuss
29/11/2019 12:57 | Indeed it would...time to reflect without distractions. What was it something about the 'trusty sword of truth' | meijiman
28/11/2019 19:31 | meijiman, a funny thing, Luke Johnson worked for Jonathan Aitken at one point just after leaving University. I rate the fact that Jonathan Aitken has atoned after his stretch inside. Perhaps a short spell at Her Majesty's pleasure would be of benefit to Luke? | konradpuss
28/11/2019 18:53 | A nice little earner for him. Reminds me of Jonathan Aitken | meijiman
28/11/2019 18:18 | FT said Johnson has taken about £46m out, before taxes and professional fees | onjohn
06/11/2019 11:53 | "If I was arrogant at times before, my ego has taken quite a battering since." LJ If? There's doubt? | bbmsionlypostafter
24/10/2019 12:16 | "KPMG ... whose insolvency partners earned £875 an hour for the work" Wont be any left for creditors at that rate. | phowdo
24/10/2019 11:43 | Has Luke Johnson been formally charged under the Fraud Act 2006? | lucicavi
24/10/2019 08:40 | Nice work KPMG - Looks as though they can have their CAKE and also eat it - ~Article may well be behind a pay wall but if U can access more details on the unmitigated disaster that was CAKE | pugugly |
