Cash / time is not on their side, so I guess folk will look to protect their capital at some stage. Still too high risk for me relative to potential rewards.

Looks like a few long-term shareholders in PFP are walking away. I too am turning rather negative on a stock that promises so much but time keeps ticking and we never manage to defeat the General. I would guess his position in Mozambique is stronger than some on the BB's make out.

It would appear that John is trying to do the same here as at PGR i.e. appoint a politician to the board with a view to securing some credibility. Whilst I am sure that this might help with his sales pitch, I am not convinced that it provides any real substance. Still a nice little earner for Henry whilst it lasts.

Henry Bellingham has some high level Foreign Office experience especially in Africa. Can't see why he would take on the role of Chairman unless he thought there was a future here. I suspect he has been brought in to use political contacts to get the dispute resolved.

Same here Hyper. I sold out on the rise too, very glad I did now as although a penny on the charts looked possible, it doesn't now.

To be honest I would not even like to guess what is going on.

I'm not in fact holding these. I was in for a short period last week for a quick trade, but decided to move on. Just came back to this thread to see what was happening. Will call it a day now, but GLA.

or because the trade (over NMS) is not displayed untill hours, days or weeks later (depending on size over NMS).

I believe MM's do hold a little float, but they balance their books at end of each week.

SP weakens because seller is willing to take an ever lower price to offload their shares to a buyer.

I have to start work but google market makers. If every share sold had a PI buyer - the share price would never move. Btw shareholder here so perhaps u have another reason for recent share price weakness? gla

Some days you gave more sells than buys and other days its more buys than sells. Who holds the balance? The MMs!

'free float' are shares held by PI's

Check out wikipedia. Would post link, but ADVFN won't allow links today (as yesterday)!

because it could be a single transaction, RNS only needs to be released once the transaction is complete.

rajaster

You can't offload shares unless you have a buyer. Maybe the share price will be influenced by how much the buyer pays for them. Could also be seen as a positive by the market once any overhang is gone.

IMHO, DYOR

Well why no buyers holdings RNSs? Note it was Mr Baldwins own holding sold. What will move this is news re court update. More patience needed here imo gla

Its bad enough with the general story. this share is doomed if those 100 million get offloaded quickly.

Why would I ask the question if I know the answer?

KNIGEL

Do MM's hold shares?

Why would MM's take shares if they don't have a buyer for them? if they have a buyer they would pass them straight to that buyer.

I think you may already know the answer to that question.
