I only have a few so not too bothered if this goes pear shaped. So I am hanging fire to see if a better bid comes in from the MBO or a white knight...as days go by it does seem unlikely but the party isn't over until the fat lady sings. I can't hear anything yet.

Bachellor I dont know. But I see P Blundell has exercised quite a few options , so I would think not too far off.

One wonders if the term `conflict of interest ` applies to stories such as this. ie the recommended 9p offer has brought rewards at the option prices now activated or is that too cynical?

I cant remember how it came to the club but it was first purchased around a year ago and the club has purchase twice since then. They still hold.

I researched the company and bought at the same time as the club as a punt. The more research I did - and this was before they bought York Potash - the more secure I felt in my investment. When they bought York Potash I was a bit unhappy as it seemed they were forgetting the "gold mines" in Australia and North Dakota and Britain was not noted for potash production.

As development in Yorkshire went on I realised that the management knew what they were doing and bought more so that I had an average price of 13p. Sold out yesterday as a doubling of money is too much for me - I always like to think where has the money come from. I believe in the story and think that it will reach 54p/75p as brokers suggest but I am comfortable with the little bit of money I have made.

There are still risks - there may be a strong lobby against the development of the mines, On assessment there may not be as much ore as is suggested, they may not be able to raise the cash for development, the whole project may not be economical.

A profit is a profit after all.
