06/10/2011 11:39 | Harry for what its worth i only have about 140k shares... i would support anything but Remmie! | the heed
06/10/2011 10:19 | a pleasure - you need to register [free] | jackiewilson
06/10/2011 08:16 | Thanks Jackie. I am unimpressed. I think this an attempt to buy cheap sell high a company (IEN) that I have been invested in for many years. Could a counter offer evolve from say Messrs Richards and Blundell and or a white knight? I would, subject to terms, support that. Can you direct me to the author of the note you recite? 01/10/2011 10:45 | I told you guys it was like Jonny English movie, Cassis being French :) Let's see if the two old guys from IEN can de-thrown Cassis at the last minute. | mel_d1
01/10/2011 10:41 | I have gone back in and bought some, as I, too, like Darius Don't rate Cassis's chances half as good now. Because he hasn't got Clive's 6% stake, besides, Clive and Philip must be doing the rounds talking to Institutional holders. Therefore, they may come up with rival bid. It's war in the boardroom. And it's at least going to push the price up. For this reason I have gone back in, bought some to sit and watch the show. Good luck all. Some of these institutions should be fighting tooth and nail as they have been with IEN for yonks and now they want a lot more than 7.5p ps for their investment. | mel_d1
30/9/2011 08:05 | Just re read the announcement of 19th Sept the trio are I believe Bidco. | harrytrad3
30/9/2011 07:58 | Mel D looks like a good call. He is not having my shares. Come on lets see him off. Whats the connection incidentally between the trio cited and Bidco (or has the later fallen by the wayside)? | harrytrad3
30/9/2011 07:06 | You appear to be right Mel and so Rami and others have to find £21.5m in order to take over this company. I don't think Clive and Phillip are on board so it will be a hostile t/over if it occurs. And I dont think Rami has a chance. He will end up like Stelios a holder spitting on the outside and unable to cut adrift. Rah Rah Rah Go Clive go! (not literally of course) | darias
29/9/2011 17:55 | After the market close today, just an hour ago, Rami Cassis singularly from the board together with couple Funds open a takeover position. I told you all the way it was a boardroom war! where does it end? has he got the remaining 15%? Here they are, no mention of Clive Richards or Philip Blundell; no mention of 'concert'! "Rami Cassis together with Nova Capital and Funds managed by HarbourVest Partners LLC" | mel_d1
29/9/2011 09:12 | Darias I tend to agree, but would not be surprised at an attempt to reduce the indicated 7.5p price It all seems like manipulation to me. | harrytrad3
29/9/2011 08:00 | With property debt at 4.7m it is possible that the concert party are having trouble raising the 18.36m required to take over the company at 7.5p. If they were planning to do a Glazer (heap the debt onto the company) this would mean the company having nearly 23m worth of debt on a turnover of 12m and loss making to boot. We are told we are in a credit crunch. Still we will know on October 17th. If the bid does not occur I think the share price will rise substantially. It may even start taking off as we approach the 17th. | darias
29/9/2011 07:37 | That makes two captains on the deck Estonia. Predictably interim results made no difference to share price IEN glistens while Documetrix stumbles (and accounts for a property debt burden of £4.7m ). What are we waiting for Estonia? | harrytrad3
27/9/2011 18:11 | still hold many many shares .not sold one..like you all very dissapointed at the situation at the moment I would not be happy selling at these prices at all! | estonia
27/9/2011 18:03 | however, over at iii forum they say it is a buy at this price. | mel_d1
27/9/2011 17:53 | I suppose Estonia or any other blogger who isn't partaking in the discussions have sold out! I did. Remi Cassis holding is too big for anyone from within or without to make a move. | mel_d1
27/9/2011 16:43 | Very good Rovi very good! | harrytrad3
27/9/2011 14:31 | Estonia, the most northerly of the Baltic states, regained its independence from the Soviet Union in 1991. It is a mainly flat country on the eastern shores of the Baltic Sea, with many lakes and islands. Much of the land is farmed or forested. | rovi57
27/9/2011 08:48 | Should a share price be suspended in circumstances where it is seemingly being held for a period such as PSQ here. The offer which may or may not be made by Bidco seems to have caused a ceiling and a floor for the share price (which I suppose can be added to the front and middleroom capacities created by the PSQ union of Documetrix and IEN). Perhaps we are creating a building metaphorically. I think interims will be announced this week. But if they sparkle will the share price rise? I suspect not given the current and seeming cap. By the bye where is Estonia? Should therefore, trading be suspended in this share until this unholy (IMHO) is cleared away? | harrytrad3
26/9/2011 10:13 | Been caught a couple of times on takeovers when it's 'obvious' that someone else should step in, so moved my cash onwards. It's difficult to trust a BOD that would do this at this stage. Still watching to see how this resolves since it may help in judging exit points for other shares. It was 'interesting' to buy into a Co with a dominant shareholder that had effective control and thus was able to drive strategy, but if they prioritise their own interests [?] then that dominance becomes a problem. If Bidco have 40+% of the shares then this effectively becomes a 'blocking' shareholding since other large shareholders [institutions] only owned about 30% of the Co. before the offer. They are therefore at the mercy of Bidco wrt price, particularly if no other white knight is able to buy/borrow enough shares. If, as it seems, Bidco is carefully controlling the price, whilst quietly buying some larger chunks, then 7.5p it is on Oct 17th [?]. Hope I'm wrong or otherwise that karma squares it all up later. | jackiewilson
20/9/2011 11:12 | So here is the thing: the company may or may nor receive an offer within 4 weeks (or presumably anytime sooner) of a price which may or may not be 7.5p, so how is the share price in the interim suppose to find its level. The announcement yesterday must act as a brake on any upward climb or reversal. Just how can this situation be deemed `fairplay`? Is it not in reality another presssure on Shareholders to rush for the door. Does the FSA or anybody else ever investigate matters such as these:? I cannot find the link to the chap who invited comments from PSQ shareholders, would a kind soul direct me to it please? | harrytrad3
20/9/2011 07:14 | Bachellor well that just about sums up feelings on this site. certainly they are echoed by me. Mel D1 P Blundell has been with IEN for years. I would not dismiss him lightly in the scheme of things. (One is only as good as one `s team). | harrytrad3
19/9/2011 22:00 | I only have 114k but i was looking for about 13p for mine, I for one will be saying no.. I think we should use the power of the internet for the use of good.. not evil!! Let us not, let this little schiester take our company for sweeties!! | the heed |
