No mention that the share price was 10p in January in the little `aren`t we wonderful` comments vis increas to average share price over 6months and since August.

Rather disappointed in the independent board of directors who are all selling their shares at the agreed price notwithstanding if a higher offer comes in. Not quite sure how they are independent when they all control what they sold for.

I think that when this`potential takeover` came up that the housebrokers then target was 8.9 having fallen from an earlier 13p

I have just been ripped off, so deep pocketed sources can line their pockets

Abbey I suspect that you will find that the share price on Monday is 9p

What a carve up. The "commenting on the offer" segments are particularly nauseating,RC in particular, but also the Chairman. PI's here have been poorly served.Glad they are so confident of creating shareholder value once its taken private.Time to find the tent and head to St. Pauls.

My thoughts ( and they are just my thoughts):

RC is thick skinned. He will withdraw but stick around.

Any other development might involve Richards and HIM or and others. I was surpised that HIM picked up so many shares last week at 7.5p as it seemed cheap for the volume bought

But unless trading this share today best just to await another announcement ( and trust it is not another postponement). I bought some more on Tuesday. Ho Hum

Darius

This was one of 3 shares that I started with IEN, DDD and Tanfield.

I did pretty well with TAN and made my investment back and about 400% in about 6 months and on DDD i'm about 450% up over about 5 years so was hoping that this would eventually come good for me.

In the event of a worst case scenario and we get taken out, i'd just like to say thanks for this starting this thread, there has been some good informative posting at times.

Good luck all holders, except Mr Blackcurrant obviously

If he's done a dodgy deal in the shadows somewhere then I expect he'll will have a lot of folk from IEN days wanting to know where he lives so they can go pay him a visit. My position is not too bad, 3p down on about 7000 shares, but I would think there are a good few folk here who could get badly burnt.
I did want to pile some money into this one as long term the potential here is massive, probably why Mr Blackcurrant wants it eh?

Just thinking allowed you understand. No advice or predictions intended.

Ah but what happens to Mr Blackcurrant afterwards?

I don't think that he can stay on the board - or if he does he will be a splinter in the company and the board. He holds around 30% of the stock which he will probably want to offload. That means that there will be a large overhang unless another institution comes in and takes them off him. It is possible that HIM has already made such a deal which is why they did the large trades day before yesterday. The deal is on the basis that Mr B releases some stock Monday.

Just thinking allowed you understand. No advice or predictions intended.

I'm not sure if we should really be calling this a "deal".
"attempted mugging" seems more appropriate!!!

If that is the case I would top up now and average down if I was you. Herald Investment management bought a wad at 7.5 and that must be the floor of an offer.

You can buy now at 7.25 and by this afternoon know whether you have made a profit on that deal. If you haven't your money is as safe as HIM's if not safer.

Clearly the RC offer was not enough. I bought some more today thought it might be difficult but it was simple. I thought someone/thing might be hoovering them up but seemingly not

The BID price should be a minimum of 7.5p. This is the price Herald paid for 20 million. So the fact that free float has been reduced means there is less stock for trading...
