07/9/2011 08:27 | I would also like to say unlike the mortgage company that signed up ( I mean how often does anyone look at their mortgage account??!!) this is a service that will grow.. and is an ideal smart phone application, and unlike many other services this can't be done by anyone else! this has IMO this most exciting contract... although O2 will be coming on stream this quarter so we should all look out for the launch and promotion of the service.... | the heed
07/9/2011 08:16 | I think I'll put in a cheeky offer for the Company. No, sorry its already been done. | jackiewilson
06/9/2011 15:41 | Seems to me that we can request the board to set a time limit during which an offer must be made. I cannot understand the delay as this is a management buy-out and they have all the information. The only possible explanation is that they cannot raise the funds. From the takeover code, "2.4 THE ANNOUNCEMENT OF A POSSIBLE OFFER (a) Except in the case of a mandatory offer under Rule 9, until a firm intention to make an offer has been notified, a brief announcement that talks are taking place (there is no requirement to name the potential offeror in such an announcement) or that a potential offeror is considering making an offer will normally satisfy the obligations under this Rule. Except with the consent of the Panel, such an announcement should also include a summary of the provisions of Rule 8 (see the Panelʼs website at www.thetakeoverpanel (b) At any time during an offer period following the announcement of a possible offer (provided the potential offeror has been publicly named), and before the notification of a firm intention to make an offer, the offeree company may request that the Panel impose a time limit for the potential offeror to clarify its intentions with regard to the offeree company. If a time limit for clarification is imposed by the Panel, the potential offeror must, before the expiry of the time limit, announce either a firm intention to make an offer for the offeree company in accordance with Rule 2.5 or that it does not intend to make an offer for the offeree company, in which case the announcement will be treated as a statement to which Rule 2.8 applies. (c) Until a firm intention to make an offer has been notified, the Panel must be consulted in advance if any person proposes to make a statement in relation to the terms on which an offer might be made for the offeree company. Except with the consent of the Panel, if any such statement is included in an announcement by a potential offeror or is made by or on behalf of a potential offeror, its directors, officials or advisers and not immediately withdrawn if incorrect, the potential offeror will be bound by the statement if an offer for the offeree company is subsequently made, unless it reserved the right not to be so bound at the time the statement was made. | darias

05/9/2011 16:38 | Harry, I don't know. But you only need to read the 8.3 rule that came as a footer Remi C's offer of 22/8/11. I got fed up with it I just sold a third what I had at 5.8p and was tempted to buy bank shares. Then I thought may be miners. Then decided to wait and see what happens over the next few days. All these talk of recession, I mean. | mel_d1
05/9/2011 16:15 | Mel-D1 maybe Remi C has not got the required percentage yet (hopefully, he wont). | harrytrad3
05/9/2011 15:06 | I still make it today despite the Bank Holiday, as the regulatory note 8.3 says '...before the 10th businees day by 3:30 from the day of the offer'. As for the share price I guess the MBO team leave it for the last minute of the last day, to avoid a bidding war!lol. 666james, I don't listen to myself either. buy on the high, sell on the low, is what I do. I tell myself to do the opposite. Still working on it :) | mel_d1
05/9/2011 14:25 | I keep saying to myself to stay out of the AIM ...but I also don't listen to myself. Lol | 666james
05/9/2011 14:23 | Harry..wot after the deal(6-7p) for us lot? Stuffed twice over | 666james
05/9/2011 13:54 | Hang on Mel D what is the intended SP? Also James, there might even be a buyer lined up (irrespective of the share price to be paid at this stage). | harrytrad3
05/9/2011 08:12 | The heed Following receipt of your post (708) I started exploring the apps on my smart phone and was able to download the app that reads the QR codes and now know what the squiggly bits in newspapers and magazines are for. Many thanks. Why do these computer wizards think that we mere mortals can cotton on to what they are talking about. Having tried out the qr stuff I dont see how the NFC can supplant it as you say the cost of implanting a chip in a magazine is far more than the cost of printing a qr code. I see the development of qr in years to come as a way for the newspapers to make a profit out of their print run. They can put their editorials/column writers on the net and then you have to buy a paper to get the qr. It is also possible that they can print headlines, with photos, but have to buy the paper to get the qr to see the story behind the headline. PBO (Practical Boat Owner) are doing something similar with their handy hints. | darias
04/9/2011 20:15 | nowt in the press then about this share ? Shame, I was hoping for something. So it looks like we are at the mercy of Rami and his buy out. Stuff again. | 666james
03/9/2011 11:58 | The heed Don't get too upset with Mel-d I also could not see the point of your post and thank you for the explanation. I understand however that Nokia are struggling against their competitors. They may have a better system but like VCR v Betamax or Apple v Microsoft the better system may not always be the winner and I wonder if Nokia has the finance behind them to market the product. Especially such an esoteric product as a "hub" system that is more expensive and only has the ability to communicate with a compatible mobile phone. Regards | darias
02/9/2011 18:29 | All my holdings are non-penny shares, except PSQ and CMG (Croma Group PLC). I recommend a looking into CMG and ENEG if one still remains intrested in penny shares. I am open to recommendation. I will examine the facts about a company recommended. I won't take your word for it. Do not take mine either, study them and see if you like them. There is a book called Free Capital. It is about 6 or so people who made their millions in the stock market. I have read two of these punters in the book. ENEG appealed to me on the basis of the second fellow's style of investment. (ENEG, a resources company, I don't have yet. I am watching it). For reseaching your stock one good site is www.londonStockExcha | mel_d1
02/9/2011 18:17 | Heed, please stop copy and pasting rubbish here. harrytrad3, I was counting for PSQ to go to 15 - 20 pence before selling but I'd have to settle for 7p or there about. | mel_d1 |
