05/6/2019 16:02 | Doubled from the low this year though | dave4545
05/6/2019 16:01 | This hasn’t even started to move yet Dave | csmwssk12hu
05/6/2019 15:36 | That's the beauty of this market, as soon as they rise 20-30% the herd come along and push it up another 20-30% and you can get out with a safe 100% profit or at least top slice some | dave4545
05/6/2019 15:24 | News flow , directors put £150k in, new ceo with great background, about to go back into profit, possible new director buys, probably no more a screaming buy out there right now imho dyor | csmwssk12hu
05/6/2019 15:19 | For once I would agree with you csm, it does indeed seem we now have some limit order(s) in the background | pj 1

04/6/2019 09:38 | I seem to remember the last CEO being mugged by the broker when making a purchase. Wasnt a good omen. | phowdo
04/6/2019 09:29 | It’s up as there is a buy order, the price willing to be paid has risen hence the price rise to draw out a seller | csmwssk12hu
04/6/2019 09:11 | Yes, that sounds like a typical Haven Show Bar in the School holidays. | playful
04/6/2019 09:10 | I note it appears PEL is up over 15% in 2 days, and not one trade has yet been posted. This Market Maker and NOMAD system really isn't fit for purpose. | pj 1
04/6/2019 09:07 | He must be a very tough cookie if he has run an Haven site!! I remember well taking the kids to the one in North Wales about 17 years ago or more. It reminded me very much of being a Forest fan stuck in the Liverpool Kop end in the 80's. | pj 1
04/6/2019 08:55 | Began as a Lifeguard with Centre Parcs and ran a Haven holiday site between two spells with Majid, so definitely no manufacturing experience but it’s a good strategy man they need so he may have some promise but its always going to be the chemistry with MP that determines the length & success of his tenure. | playful
04/6/2019 08:11 | The appointment looks quite some catch on paper. Unsure if there is anything to read into his managing of previous Visitor Attractions? I cannot see that he has any direct Manufacturing experience, but must have serious contacts within the sector. It certainly looks as if he is very experienced in managing growth. He must have been on quite some whack of remuneration in the past, so I would expect he's on much lower at PEL, with his award probably in options for performance, as fft says, hopefully tied in to shareholder returns (KISS). So, what will he bring to the Party and what will he change? | pj 1
04/6/2019 07:11 | Interesting appointment as CEO. At least he has experience in managing a lot of people in different areas and big budgets. 1100 people and 185m. Hopefully he doesn't just get a load of nil paid options and actually spends some of his own money.... | fft
04/6/2019 07:09 | Wow more good news, excellent history, no doubt director buys shortly which will drive share price forward further imho dyor | csmwssk12hu
03/6/2019 14:02 | Need a 111, one for one rights issue at 1p with majority shareholders backing it, that would provide up to £2m, That clears the debt and gives plenty of cash for going forward, it would also give the impetus for the shares to soar and would be self funding as I could see them move swiftly to 3p all imho dyor | csmwssk12hu
03/6/2019 08:28 | I'd hazard a guess that cash flow is still extremely tight and is the main focus of the Accounts dept, which often necessitates numerous cash flow forecasts having to be produced to keep the Bankers on side, all in the knowledge that each one is obsolete as soon as it is issued. This then results in more mundane tasks such as change of address, updating of details etc. etc. (if indeed that was the cause) being missed. Hopefully, if the H1 forecasts of a return to net profit are on target then 2019 free cash flow should be landing now to reduce the pressure. However, we still await developments with regard to general funding in the future. As stated in the update on 22nd February. ''the Board is of the view that an on-demand overdraft facility is a sub-optimal financing structure for a business like Paragon and are accordingly looking closely at ways of bringing longer term capital into the business.'' From my experience of running my own small Business, it's amazing how supportive Bankers are when you are making a (net) Profit and you do not actually need them. However, when times are tough, and you actually need help, they become automatically much less supportive. | pj 1
03/6/2019 08:07 | Is paid already and issued in error the address is neither here or there, other than that I would expect they would have mail redirection? | csmwssk12hu
03/6/2019 02:52 | If PEL hadn't provided HMRC with the new registered address (as per playful) then it isn't HMRC fault.Neil, when I talked to him last Friday, did say there would be an internal investigation. That would explain why ! Someone (company secretary ? Accts ?) has really dropped the ball. | fft
03/6/2019 01:35 | Oops I can see some compo and legal fees after that | csmwssk12hu
31/5/2019 17:25 | MP will probably throw his coffee cup if I pop up again | playful |
