Dismissal of winding up petition
Paragon Entertainment Limited (AIM: PEL), the attractions design, production and fit-out business, announces that further to the announcement made earlier today, HM Revenue & Customs ("HMRC") has confirmed to the Company that all payments due to HMRC were paid and therefore the winding up petition in respect of Paragon Creative Limited that was filed at The High Court of Justice, Companies Court on 1 May 2019 (the "Petition") was issued in error.
The Company is in the process of applying for the Petition to be dismissed.

It is basic housekeeping they struggle with as pointed out previously with the incorrect shares in circulation published on the website.

The company signed a confirmation statement with companies house in April confirming the information they hold about the company is up to date.



Unfortunately it wasn't as this registered office address was sold on the 22/2/2019 and they should have provided the correct address..





The HMRC letters will have gone here and any redirect will have probably expired. This is my external investigation complete I'll send them my invoice.

I have spoken to Neil at PEL. Apparently a misallocation of money for paye. It seems money for Mar/April was forward posted. Hmrc have admitted that they are wrong and PEL are looking for compensation (good luck !). It seems systems in hmrc are antiquated and despite being told that all was ok, the notice was still put in the London gazette. PEL say they were not aware of the London gazette posting (how many people read that ?). Hopefully RNS soon to put this to bed.Btw, I am told that there is an internal investigation about why previous warnings weren't listened to.

Pmsl just reading through rns’s and come across this one, I have heard of this happen before but it’s silly mistake, no future here, only way this will move is on sheer speculation as it’s easy to move up or down imho dyor

They would have received numerous warning letters before publication so someone is for the high jump.

Sounds like it is PEL related, but the final paragraph is interesting."The Company and its advisers are in communication with HMRC with the objective of obtaining a validation order to acknowledge that the sums due to HMRC have already been discharged in full and therefore the Petition should be dismissed."Discharged in full. How could that happen without full payment (i.e. receipt). ? And that would be bloody obvious ! What other alternatives are there ?

Not quite the 43% spread we saw last week but again its unusually high at 30%. It still feels as if buyers are being deterred here.

I cannot find any rumours at all, so I assume this is the knock on effect of possibly the seller clearing and a hoped for rise if buyers return?


HSBC wont quote for £500 worth.

Not been any selling for a while now PJ1, just no buying to move it until yesterday and now today.

If it breaks 1p then I see a good run coming

edit...interesting it's now N/T to buy at 1.1p mm's have little stock to offer now

Interestingly so far the 'seller' hasn't appeared into the recent buying volume. Hard to know if they have finished or not though until any RNS lands.

The correct figure is 206,430,550

The shareholder calculation will no doubt be completely wrong too.

Interesting that vacancies seem to have expanded. Including project managers and quantity surveyors. perhaps they can manage to make them profitable !

I have checked on 3 browsers and don’t see the RNS list but believe it is there as it happened last week and suddenly appeared again, perhaps they have some sort of intermittent website problem.

Offer has jumped to 0.98p from 0.77p ?

Unless there is a delayed buy I cannot see why but of course not complaining !

Since the 25th Feb 2019, 37 million shares ABOVE the average have been traded, so assuming both sides to each trade have been posted, then at least 10% of the Co. has changed hands since then. (excluding the Placing to Directors?)

As D4545 hints at is the fact the full offer was paid an indicator any seller has finished as plenty of stock was available at 0.74p last week.
