12/8/2017 10:08 | Oh BTW BTW "Witness intimidation is when an attempt is made to threaten or persuade a witness not to give evidence to the police or courts." That goes for civil cases too. You are clearly aware action is being taken which may lead to court hearings. You are clearly trying to persuade witnesses/victims not to pursue it and tell them they have no chance of success as the Nomad will definitely have carried out serious due diligence. You are unlikely to know at what stage the process is. You make that post having no idea if what you are saying is true or not as you say you have no connection. Have you looked at the accounts of the Nomad to see if they can afford to pursue the level of costs you suggest. In other words while you are so smart in law and are warning about libel you may well have breached the above the laws in relation to witnesses by posting here. | superg1
11/8/2017 19:10 | Happy to concede that - but then hindsight is 20/20 ;-)And Super - thanks for helping out. Hope the conf call goes well... | club sandwich
11/8/2017 13:38 | SuperG, Thanks for your ongoing support and involvement on this matter, which is now gaining traction.I think iLeeman, Clubbie and all of us must concede that we wouldn't have been in this terrible position if we had heeded your warnings at the time. | festario
11/8/2017 13:21 | SG: Now I wonder if that might have anything to do about certain "felines" | pugugly
11/8/2017 13:14 | Lama Simple web searches would have shown the lies, tgat's what I did. Don't be a mug Nomads don't do DD. Usually it some guy with no clue about the company that covers them. I know I've had requests via nomads for info when they gave been in desperate trouble when questioned about companies they cover. Anyway I came to sign off from here as I can no longer post I suspect. In short I just got 'comms' for engagement which I will do with a passion. It seems clear cut to me PRG lied and the Nomad os liable. BTW The nomad can't afford it either. It will be all down to the liability insurance battle. I beat Nationwide a large insurance company, credir card company and a local authority with one letter to each when they tried it on. The PRG case looks absolutely infested woth company lies and if I can spot it by reading web pages from an armchair then the nomad could too. The fact they resigned said it all. Ooooh we screwed up ruuunnnn!!!! BTW Just made serious allegations against another nomad. Most if not all nomads are bent. They have had it far too easy for too long. | superg1
10/8/2017 20:29 | Fest - it's too early in the process to say with any clarity exactly *what* will/may happen - but I think we are all unanimous in hoping that Manduca will be dealt with appropriately... | club sandwich
10/8/2017 20:27 | Festario - maybe, However that will have been a targeted bunch of posts from certain posters, with justification for each. The courts cannot stomp on the data protection act and won't on the whim of clubby who has made personal threats and posted personal details on the bb already! Best of luck with the rest of it though. | beeks of arabia
10/8/2017 19:33 | iLeeman, I firmly expect Manduca will be dealt with in this process. | festario
10/8/2017 19:23 | hmmmm I want him to sweat. What a world we live in if he can just get away from this and move onto the next con. | ileeman
10/8/2017 19:22 | iLeeman - not if I have anything to do with it... | club sandwich
10/8/2017 19:21 | And my understanding is that Nomads are *required* to have professional indemnity, precisely for situations such as this... | club sandwich
10/8/2017 19:20 | Am I right in thinking they are going after the Nomad so Manduca will get off scot-free? | ileeman
10/8/2017 19:20 | Fest - not once a court case is convened: it takes a court order of Discovery... | club sandwich
10/8/2017 19:10 | You can email club or email the lawyers directly. Either works no big deal. "While Northland does not have the deep pockets of Cantor it should have Professional Indemnity Insurance so it is worth going after. If you have lost money on Paragon (or indeed Potash) and want a chance of getting it back you need to email your details to Peter Petyt ASAP: peter@4rivers.co.uk" | ileeman
10/8/2017 19:05 | Beeks, ADVFN are required to hand over contact details and IP addresses once a court case is convened. It's happened several times. One example, GKP, where the guy was prosecuted and it was a very expensive lesson for him. | festario
10/8/2017 18:44 | And the fact that you think the courts will just hand over reams of ip addresses to a random person shows your case will be a short one! | beeks of arabia
10/8/2017 18:40 | Two more s'holders got in touch today, writing sensible, polite emails to which I replied with pleasure. If you're not a rude c*nt get in touch - you have nothing to lose and everything (well, something anyway) to gain! | club sandwich
10/8/2017 17:25 | Nice one - good luck with that one Petrocelli! | lama_rail
10/8/2017 13:23 | Incidentally - my last word for now. As part of Discovery during the court case we'll be making an application to ADVFN for the log files for this bulletin board, and be doing IP address lookups on certain posts, to see if any of them resolve to addresses in Virginia Water or to the offices of a certain Nomad... | club sandwich
10/8/2017 13:19 | Oh and at no point did I suggest that Peter was a solicitor and was prosecuting. I didn't use the words 'charlatan' either; perish the thought! | lama_rail
10/8/2017 12:29 | Fest - good idea. No point wasting energy on morons that would be better spent prosecuting the case. | club sandwich
10/8/2017 12:25 | Lama, don't worry yourself about this. It's our business not yours and it's all in hand.Mr Petyt is not the solicitor prosecuting, so that shows an entire misunderstanding of the facts.I won't be posting any further, I'll simply let the events take their course. | festario |
