absolutely. Even more so now that you can hold AIM stocks in SIPPs and ISAs - they don't want the general public to know that the entire casino is one massive fraud show (with a very few exceptions)...

CS: Message I take from article is that that the Regulators are anxious to keep what is going on from the public eye - Message I receive is that they are afraid that exposing potentially dubious practices to the glare of public opinion they may bring the market into even more disrepute.

Also further best wishes for your action against Manduca and Nomad.

Also of possible interest for superg1 - re REDT pharma "Sunday Times article today - Headline MOULTON BURNT IN BIOTECH COLLAPSE - Interest ST comment attributed to JM "With the benefit of hindsight it looked to be a prospectus which failed to mention the fact that they had immediatly due cash" - Now who was responsible (if anyone) for that !!!

Looks like the regulators might finally be wising up to what Nomads have been up to...

Seems to me that Manduca forgot - or never knew - the first rule of being a con-artist:

"You can fool some of the people all of the time, and you can fool all of the people some of the time; but you can't fool all of the people all of the time..."

I would suggest that the LNHs fall into the first category - and even some of them are finally starting to wise up, with the clock at five to midnight...

I know a few stuck in PRG and there is a general perception imo that if the current case goes forward and gets a result then others may follow on from that.

In such cases as said before if there is clear misrepresentation that caused some to invest, then generally the liable side will do a deal without liability as a damage limitation exercise.

So it's not necessarily a case of wait and see piggy back in post event. The free ride may not be available.

Those left could then have to start their own action, pay for it or seek someone to fund it.

As in the current case if the maths doesn't add up they will be on their own.

For some it's serious money which has had a material impact on them. For those guys imo they should seek independent expert advice on the topic.

I had a case myself against Nationwide, no lawyers just me. They battled at the start but when I hit them with the evidence they folded and paid me as if I won in a contested case it meant all would win.

That funnily enough was based on what I thought I'd bought into v what their opinion was. All to do with misleading info on very simple points.

So get advice imo. If some sit on the sidelines thinking they are in a win win situation by doing nothing, what will happen if they find themselves closed out with nowhere to go. Then what would they think of unqualified people they listened to who are highly affected on opinion by their personal PRG position.

Ignore this BB ignore the loan note club. Think very carefully and get the right advice.

I quite agree. We'll save all that for the action against Manduca himself...

I think the main point above all else is getting as close as we can to the truth.

If the truth deviates from what was stated then it should result it pay outs.

It's not about masses of evidence. If people invest on the basis of something that wasn't correct then that's it really.

Each has to identify when they invested and on what basis. IE was any investment made on matters that may be found to be misleading/untrue.

Simple points and no need to complicate it.

"If the CS case does succeed"

It's no longer 'my' case, if it ever was. I just initiated it, but it is now its own thing, with new s'holders joining daily - some of the recent ones more LNHs who have finally and utterly lost faith in Slippery Phil. Until now they've had no choice but to hope he delivers - now they have a choice, and many of them are exercising it...

It's for reasons all above board ET, no need for any of that, we are not cowboy loan note holders that do home visits.

This should be about sorting PM and the Nomad not fighting each other.

To think that some still believe PM makes me understand why they wouldn't listen many moons ago, there was never any hope.

I wonder if PM is still saying the cheque is in the post. Now that would be funny.

If the CS case does succeed it may well do on the back of a pay out without liability,. Such cases look for lower pay outs and avoid all the legal fees.

If that happened anyone not in the boat starts from where CS did and would have to hope that someone would back them with funds.

More or less that you've go to be in it to win it. But then being in it even in a winning case doesn't mean all get paid just those that meet certain criteria.

EG if you bought and held since pre PM and Northland what claim do you have on buying on false details.

That's the house super.
That's the phone number.
He operates from home.
If you pass by a few times
you'll soon know the car.
Other household members.
The shopping habits.
It may even be that
I share a common client.
That could get interesting.
Or maybe I don't.
Who knows?

Lama

I have you on filter so won't see any response.

IF you are a mate of "Bryan' that gets a mention here the for goodness sake stop what you are doing as it's obviously making it worse for him as you can see by the various posts.

I have no idea what the beef is about Bryan and the apparent dislike of him.

Don't play the game of trying to kid folk that people are not bothered. Rumours and paranoia are far more damaging for people than reality.

I see this as nothing worse than sounding off at each other.

In the case of the visit to CS that was a step too far so I understand his anger there. My reaction if that had been me would have been far worse and there would have been no mention of the visit here.

Just thought, I need to apologise to Brian. Sorry that Rail is an anagram of liar. Of course that means that I am you now of course. It's a palindrome if I put liarrail. Sorry Brian. Raily sorry!

Just for the record what I viewed was a large detached brick house on it's own over-looking a main road. That was some time back and I can't recall why.

Perhaps someone asked me to find bits and pieces.

I have in my head tall guy had a business, done well, over £100k in PRG.

Now if I knew who asked me and by what method I could track back to it.

CS

As I said I know the H/A of one that's how I found it on google maps and why I asked who Bryan is.

Judging by the description its the same one I was thinking of.

Back then he was a friendly I believe. I'm not party to what went on to cause the bad feeling towards him.

One thing I do know without any further help is that if he believes in Manduca then he is complete mug.

Then if he is Lama the potential criminal offences as reported before are here for all to see.

I have Lama filtered and have for a while.

'He's an absolute pr*ck'...........I could be wrong but didn't CS say something about suing this guy because of something he's said about him? That'll be a water-tight case then as obviously Bryan had no reason to say anything bad about mild-mannered Clubby. Oh, and of course Clubby will be demonstrate losses as a result of course. Clubby lost money because Bryan said something not nice about him. That's why he lost all his money in PRG of course. It all makes sense now. It's PM's fault, no wait it's the nomad's fault, no wait, got it, it's Bryan's fault. We got there in the end.

DigDeep - got it, much appreciated, and I have replied.

ET - if you have his home address I'd love it, save on the cost of a private eye, many thanks!!! And anything else you want to share, feel free to send it to me or direct to Peter Petyt at peter@4rivers.co.uk

Bryan is in WAY over his head. He's out £122k on his Paragon investment, plus what he blithely gave over for worthless loan notes, and he's about to get sued. Oh, and almost everyone who has expressed an opinion to me thinks he's an absolute pr*ck...

It's his poor wife I feel sorry for.
