16/3/2022 17:17 | Personally, I would be surprised if they go back to the SMD at Talitha A this season. I think it would probably take a week to get back there and set up, then however long to complete whatever remedial work and start testing, so let's say two weeks before we get any results. IMO better to use that time at TW, assuming we have something worth staying for which I would guess they know by now. | sporazene2
16/3/2022 16:44 | Or Talitha SMD... | chris0805
16/3/2022 16:20 | Dhb368 , agree on timescales, which suggests plenty of time to complete LBFF and UBFF at Theta West, then return to Tabitha to re test the SFS. Keep the faith… | highly geared
16/3/2022 14:30 | Long term oil cannot be $200 though, that is not sustainable. I would be very happy with $90+ oil. My expectation is that (in a success case) the total recoverable will be significantly above 2 billion barrels by the years end and that $10b valuation will not seem so much of a stretch. But we have (almost) nothing until the TW results and what % will PANR own by that point? | dhb368
16/3/2022 14:16 | IMO a bIt soon to determine final value. We've yet to (im)prove the resource estimates, drill gretaer Alkaid etc, etc. Also we don't know where PoO will be by year end. Some of the more optimistic predictions I've seen suggest $200. On current estimates recoverable and $200, I'd go nearer £10 | forwood
16/3/2022 13:23 | There will be an offer for Pantheon north of £3 before the year is out. Call it a hunch. The offer will be refused. | rideacockhorse
16/3/2022 13:20 | The current forecast is that the maximum temperature will not rise above -10c before mid April and will still be below -5 at the end of April. The ground temperature is the important one with regards to the ice road but given that the max ambient temperature to the end of April is forecast to be -5c (-13c overnight) and the road was designed to take the Calista #3 rig, it suggests to me that it will still be useable to the remaining traffic for the next 6 weeks. But as has been said, forecasts change. | dhb368
16/3/2022 13:10 | Season end - I think the best guide we have is that they ceased operations on April 19th last year. Very weather dependant, and at five weeks ahead the forecasts are simply educated guesswork. Weather patterns were fairly similar this year. They may be able to steal a few days extra as they do not have 1000T of rig to move, but I would not expect too much there. Still a good length of time. We will know more when the results of the LBFF are released - the RNS should give info on what the plan is next. | unlikely2
16/3/2022 12:49 | I am not really understanding the share fluctuations. We have had 2 very good pieces of news. Whilst one poor piece of news has been resolved. As for the disappointing lack of flow test from the SMD... We have the money in the pot to repeat the entire exercise. We may even be able to do it this season. Can anyone comment on when the season may end. Clearly moving a rig that can only travel at 1 MPH, which must weight a huge amount, there is going to be concerns as to the state of the ice road. Are they going to apply different tests (waiting longer) prior to moving the coiled units? | just one more try
16/3/2022 12:24 | One assumes that the coiled tubing guys will be getting better and quicker after some good practice at Talitha, could produce results earlier than thought as "practice makes perfect". | dan de lion
16/3/2022 12:18 | Put my last top-up ,I guess now everyone taking position for most likely next week update ,by end of today or early tomorrow new share admission will be completed .Markets start recovering from today .risk of Russia war to grow into EU is over .seems they will sit on table on weekend and suituation will start improving .Dyor | tmmalik
16/3/2022 10:49 | I agree, I had anticipated 21 or 28 Mar for news which gives us time to return to Talitha (Wx permitting). Given what we know, what is the COS at TW? | carrr595
16/3/2022 10:46 | 300k currently on the bid at 106.80. Has this selling just been a short exercise? | forwood
16/3/2022 10:34 | I much prefer your timescale as it allows us to get back to SMD-B! | dhb368
16/3/2022 10:29 | dhb, could well be. CANA did say "end of March" for Theta West flow test results. So at the earliest it will be imo is Monday 21st - but yes, could well keep us waiting until Monday 28th for news. | pro_s2009
16/3/2022 10:29 | As previously posted... mods get little thanks for their efforts.. Thanks for taking the effort to return to moderating here Mr Darcon. | chris0805
16/3/2022 10:22 | My timescales differ a little from PRO's. It took 17-20 days from the rig leaving Talitha until the first results from LBFF Talitha were known. If I recall they were planning to do more work at Theta West and given that the Calista #3 rig was due to leave Theta West over the weekend of 5/6 March I wouldn't be surprised if we had to wait until Monday 28th March for news. | dhb368
16/3/2022 10:18 | Homer used Telemachus as a vehicle to reveal further stories about Odysseus in his epic. I think it wise not to accept anything posted on a public bb at face value and getting involved in hissy fits and trying to Out other posters delivers little benefit and just buries worthwhile posts in noise. Like so many others, I don't generally contribute because I have little to add Q | quidnunc

16/3/2022 09:54 | Could.it be that they are fracking to BFF to the MAX this time rather than tiny bit.? | officerdigby
16/3/2022 09:46 | Good of you to remind us bitcoin. Friday will be 2 weeks and it occured to me that if anything had gone wrong, we should have heard about it by now. I hope they will have time to return to Talitha, as it appears there may be enough time before they have to move the lighter equipment off the ice. Last year they didn't begin to test Talitha until the 1st week of April (news 6 April), and if the current season is similar, we probably have until Easter to complete the campaign. | forwood |
