DH discussed timing of next update on Flight Deck episode 6. Listen to his response from 09:25 to 13:52, and in particular from 12:45 to 13:16.
“The cores have made it back to core lab. They’re doing the work, both on the whole core that we took in the well, and also the 49 sidewall cores that we recovered out of the 50 sidewall cores that we took. So they’ll be doing all of that work, and we’re expecting porosity and permeability over the course of the next few weeks, as we said it’ll be almost certainly to the end of January, maybe a little longer before we get the results. But you can imagine you want to get the right results, you know properly done rather than rushing it because you don’t get a second shot, if you open up a seal sample and you screw it up, that’s it it’s gone.”
Based on that it’s not remotely surprising that we haven’t had an update yet. Who cares if it’s the second half of February instead of the first. I want them to get it right. |
Hi Spangle, thanks for your greater expertise in this area :) It’s complex, I appreciate, I think the positive is that the gas seems now “in play” with Mr Trump now in the hot seat and can be ascribed value. |
@Mike290 if Helpfull has been b@nned it's the forums loss!
What are you going to do with yourself, with no Helpfull to abu$e?
Oh I know!....Nudge Nudge, Wink Wink, I bet it will include nobbygnome being involved!
Anyways back to business!
Panr = STRONG SELL..WHY?..No Cash!..Huge debt!..No incoming revenue!..Massive unavoidable dilution coming!..Mangrove etc etc
Just saying like!

Highly geared - there's still a long way to go with AI, isn't there ;-)
If you were looking at calorific value, then equivalence would be about 5800 scf to 1 boe - scaling up would be 5.8 Tcf to 1 billion boe, but that's a lot of burning.
This equivalence is frequently used by oil companies for rolling all their reserves or production into one number, and has the effect of artificially inflating the value of the gas portion.
Economically, using the lower 48 and rounding for easier maths, WTI is at $70/bbl, Henry Hub has surged this year to $3.5/mcf. So "equivalence" is actually 20x not 5.8x. At least the AI figure of 10 is in the range. :-)
If you were valuing PANR gas, you'd need to use a high multiple to reflect the lower price they are stating that they'll achieve. But the gains themselves come from the lower capital expenditure, and more oil reserves, that will eventuate. |
It told me PANR is a screaming buy! |
Did it tell you whether you should buy or sell? |
Hi Spangle, I got the figure from Google AI but haven’t checked it in detail. |
@Ottoman1453, there are several other moderated panr threads, so my question to you is why post or look in on Helpfulls thread if it is so bad? Also there is a second option of the filter!
And the loser known as tizo100 is a fine one to comment! I get unrelenting abu$e from him and his clowns over on the Rkh forum, I just laugh at them!...Ha ha ha ha.....LOL

I entirely share your sentiments PhsarKandalPP. The problem is that these two posters, who I also suspect of being one and the same person, thrive on being continually name-checked. As long as that continues they will remain an enduring presence, that is until the share price enters a state of divine bliss! |
Oh what's happening, I've just logged on to all this white noise! So much abu$e and h@te!
Oh I see the share price has dropped!
Timberrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!
Panr = STRONG SELL

Well done that moron and fraud needs banning |
Highly-geared - "10TCF gas converts to c. 1Billion oil barrels equivalent."
Not sure I understand this conversion - has this been shared by the company? |
hi michaelsadvfn,
I am with forwood. There was definitely a statement regarding lab results late Jan/early Feb. Sadly still have to work - I may try to find it later - from memory it was something DH said - but I may be wrong.
I guess what I was expecting from lab results is expert third party confirmation regarding the oil and gas. If they are examining cores to prove up management's assertions regarding permeability, porosity and how many and how deep the oil encounters included in the core, then why should that take weeks?
I know I am ignorant, but what else does the company get from a lab analysing cores? Surely the lab does not advise the company on how best to exploit the fields? Mapping and determining where to drill is surely a company management matter?
If anyone can be bothered to educate me, thank you in advance. |
Reflecting on PANR’s potential recoverable resource.
With Kodiak and Aphun at 1.6Billion and Megrez (say 0.9 Billion) =2.5 Billion. 10TCF gas converts to c. 1Billion oil barrels equivalent.
So 3.5 Billion total.
Take over prices historically equated to c$1billion for every 100mmbbo P2, so theoretically $35billion valuation for PANR. Field development costs need to be considered (significant) but these figures show potential direction of travel in terms of asset development and ultimate sale to a major. |
I love seeing how olderwiser is so confident these days. Such a torrid time for him a year or so ago. Now he’s truly back , razor sharp talons and wings fully repaired . A classic example of how you can comeback and sock it to them . Keep up the good work. |
Nigoil’s post also reported. You despair how low this board has plummeted…. |
Nigoil…….what a stupid prat you are, do you seriously believe any one would ever take heed of your drivel, you and the kiddyfiddler hopeless need to be removed from ADVFN asap. Lets all hope they take note of the lies and deception. Onwards and upwards….GLALTH |
May I ask when the Company stated further news could be expected by the end of January/early February?
Perhaps I missed something in one or another video but from the RNS of 22/01, 'The results of further analyses of the logs, cores and cuttings, along with volumetric estimates for the three additional horizons and any flow testing results will be shared when available.' |
FFS, there is no ulterior motive here - merely disappointment that expectations raised of further news on test results by the end January, early Feb have not been met. Some have traded it, I have not. That is all! |
