Was anyone stupid enough to think it would continue on up and is now sitting on a loss?

mmh... so you grow the tree out of the 17-18p range to shake it back down to that level. who is getting cheap shares in that range?
if this was about buying, you'd just keep buying 16-18p as during the May 2021 selloff?

it's a technical/algo trade, technowiz. this occurs at key technical levels, among them your bollinger bands, important moving averages and big trend lines. market makers and technical investors there support the creation of a new move (a blow off, reversal etc.) by lifting offers/lowering bids, not acting against the trend (not selling into the rise) etc. and then let it back down / back up.
I'd guess it's a simple trading for profit strategy based on probability, nothing fundamental nor hedging etc.

The HNW professional investors who bought on the forward buying will not relinquish their shares. The current weakness is all down to the LNW amateur investors panicking. The new low is now in and it will all be in an upward trajectory from now on.

This share buying game is easy if you know what you are doing. And some of you do. You have spent your cash proving it all the way down from 140p to 17p. Again.

I have lost a fortune. I missed out at 140p, 123,45p, 90p, 80p, 40p and 20p. I will miss out at 17p as well.

Some were more fotunate. They have averaged down all the way to the current price.

The lucky ones even got a bout of FOMO the other day and averaged up to 21p.

Never mind. You'll get it all back when the share price goes back up to test historical highs. It always works like that.

Good look everyone. Strap yourselves in. It is a win-win win game. Or not.

I often wonder about literacy, comprehension and basic intelligence skills on here. Here is an example:

"US earnings" says truant. Padamster then argues with him/her because he/she reads it as "earnings season".

Blimey. How do people such as Padamster function in real life? Is he/she sitting there with a sock on his left foot and a sock on his right hand? No wonder so many lose so much on stock market gambling.

not to throw salt in wounds, but, being back at 17.4, mabye this is a good moment to stop taking market maker bids and offers seriously.
