22/2/2023 11:02 | JakNife, the reason the rig may be there (I have no info either way) is because it will move south shortly to work on 88Es new Hickory 1 well. 88E RNS talk about it being mobilised from Pantheon mid February, for their spudding early March. Alkaid 2 to Hickory 1 is not far and given 88E only recently obtained its permit to drill and as at 6 Feb had still to construct its ice pad, perhaps they are not quite ready for the rig. canthelpit and any other doubters about the success of clean out operations, consider this: The lateral was blocked following the initial frac charge operations which blew an extraordinary amount of sand into the rocks and channels around the pipe so as to create larger free flowing channels for the oil. Some of that sand came back from initial operations and created a blockage. Since the first CTU operation cleared the sand from c 4000 ft, up to 40% of the frac fluid had returned. There was nothing to suggest that subsequently there was a problem with more sand from that 4000 ft, and thus no reason to think there would be following the recent and more thorough clean out from the operation of the 2nd CTU. Finally, if there were any problems with flow back in the now fully unblocked lateral, it would have materialised by now. There has been zero suggestion of the workover rig needing to move onto the well head again (except by shorts desperate to find a potential snag in the resumption of flow operatiosn), and highly unlikely to be needed in the unlikely event of a further blockage, where a CTU was previously successful in clearing most of that previous problem! I hope you get it now. Yesterday's RNS confirmed that flow testing has resumed. Live with it, try it on for size and consider the likely improvement in flow from the completely unblocked lateral which is now able to recover most of the frac fluid, and where the gas produced in initial operations continues to be replaced by oil and sellable condensate and NGLs. | forwood
22/2/2023 10:20 | This an excellent article about the need to question our assumptions and beliefs. Although the theatre is the Ukraine war, the play is about the mistakes we make when we don't revisit our cherished positions. It applies whether one is long or short. | forwood

22/2/2023 09:58 | Cor blimey, guv! "workover rig is estimated to arrive to location over the next week to ten days to install production tubing prior to commencing flow testing operations. A significant amount of fluid was introduced into the well during stimulation procedures which will return first during the 'clean-up phase" From a RNS in September 2022, I think. Still in the "clean up phase". My half a brain tells me the company have been here before. What happened before couldn't happen again could it? Be careful. | helpfull
22/2/2023 09:50 | ‘Pantheon is pleased to announce that following the successful cleanout of the sand blockage in the wellbore, flow testing operations have now recommenced.’ That’s enough for anyone with a brain to understand. | michaelsadvfn
22/2/2023 09:32 | Classic MM treeshake before the well cleanup completion. | kemche
22/2/2023 09:30 | Whatever frac sand there was will have flowed up the wellbore along with the frac fluid and increasing amounts of oil and gas. How on earth could frac sand block the well again when it has been removed? Do try harder canthelpit. | michaelsadvfn
22/2/2023 08:36 | Cor blimey, guv! They've cleared the blockage. The worry is written in the recent past. When the frac sand was first produced it was a clear well. That was quickly blocked. With "only 10% of frac fluid recovered". The blockage was very large. A CTU was employed and the blockage was reduced to 1,000 ft. How big was the initial blockage if after the CTU work 1,000 ft was left? The shareholder wasn't told. The worry is that the frac sand will block the well again. Immediately. No matter how tentative the company are. There is a lot more frac sand. The blockage has been removed. The frac sand hasn't. In a months time Pantheon might be back to square one. Be careful. | helpfull

21/2/2023 19:30 | Truant’s success or should I say lack of success is second to Pro. He declares his positions on twitter which is great and then to see them go the other way. Anyone seen Pro. His Delt shares are taking a hammering when he went long 😂 | padamster |
