Just stopped by to read the old thread for the first time in maybe a year. I've read maybe the last 25 posts and unfortunately I think I just contracted cancer. You guys are lunatics, get a life.

Looks like jay and bob's little " we've never been in a better place " update is encouraging people.

The mood is changing fast with the situation in Ukraine. Look at Germany burning coal again. How politically incorrect is that.

I can think of three likely potential reasons for the recent persistent rise and the clearly evident uptrend. I exclude the simplistic "more buyers than sellers!"

I have no idea which of the three is in play at present. I wonder if anyone on these boards does have an inkling.

In view of the state of play on this trashed thread I have no intention of being more forthcoming!

Don't disagree one bit. Most my investments from my ISA are in oil and gas companies. Fact is they ain't gonna invest until the price is right. Either tax cuts or higher oil prices

I suggest you read the article in the Telegraph 30th January 2023 which highlights BP's warning that oil and gas investment will be needed for another 30 years. The world is slowly coming to realise that fact.

The highest I bought was £1.20. I was concerned at to the 30 Dec RNS.

However, they now have a rig on site to deal with the problem. It is clear that they also have not persued other projects (Alkaid 3) to conserve money).

If the rig is successful (I understand that this is a fairly routine problem) and the flow rates increase (and possibly even if they do not increase). Then PANR can continue to sell hydro carbons.

I think that there will be a farm in (they almost did a deal last year) and this will resolve the question of money........

just one more try
