Little retrace on the one minute chart almost over. Onwards and upwards - should get into the 60s, with resistance maybe c 67p - and that feels to me a reasonable point pending the remedial works on the well.

I tactically closed my short first thing. I reckon I'll be able to reload somewhat higher, and a profit is a profit. The cult will like the Q&A sheet and be excited by the workover. That the full product mix is (probably) saleable through the pipeline is a genuine positive and new news. The repeated shut ins and pressure build ups will delay the likely observation of the decline curve as the most mobile fractions are produced out.

It is hidden in plain sight. 40% of 5,300 ft clean up completed. But only 4,300 ft accessible. That 40% equates to just under 50% pro rata clean up. The company knows all it needs to know about production capabilities, and water cut and commercialism.

7,000 barrels of oil at 200 bopd is 35 days production. A knock back. About 50 barrels per 1,000 ft or one third of that hoped for. Points to a maximum of 250 bopd. And then declines weigh in. Cash is at a premium. The $55,000,000 convertible bonds (of what remains) are an albatross now. Fresh cash needs to be raised in order to move forward. Prospects aren't quite as rosy.

Where has the flare disappeared to? Now is the time it is needed. The company is trying to deflate the balloon in an orderly manner. It needs mug punters to prop up the inevitable share price decline. All upward trendlines have been smashed. The target is 10p.

No I just took the average of what oil producers themselves in the Alaskan north slope have quoted themselves. Proximity to the pipeline won't have a drastic impact on the price which is why I gave it a generous $20 margin before taxes
