Helpful - "The trend in the share price is sharply lower"

Me looking at the long term chart - "Really?"

Two of the directors who exercised and sold just those shares are in their 70s. When do they want a chunk of their cash which is tied up in the company? What does it say if they fancy using some of the money they've earned before they get too old to appreciate it?

As for the 52 year old Justin Hondris, doubtless he wants or needs to enhance his lifestyle somewhat now while keeping his previous holding of 1.5 million skins in the game.

Some people read way too much into an RNS!

Very rarely post now as generally speaking bulletin boards have sunk to such a low level there is not much to be gained.

Interesting reading through posts of last day or so and you do have to wonder where some of this lot come from.

Many with a clear shorting agenda and at this point everyone can say what ever they like until we get flow results.

What I would say is:-

Well done to the directors like anyone who has made a decent profit they are 100% right to take some off the table.

This is what everyone should have done

Does the directors change my view on the value of the asset 100% no it doesn't

Does the noise from the shorter's have any bearing on my view 100% not

Shorter's have the same problem as the longs Pantheon can turn very quickly as in general they are tightly held. Flow news is a very big movement one way or the other I would have my money on upwards

Is Alaska linked to Texas 100% not

Have Pantheon Great Bear delivered 1m% yes

Will the well flow if you look at all the data it should do

If the well flows in commercial quantities what does this mean Pantheon is massively undervalued

Is Pantheon currently undervalued I would say most definitely yes if you look at any probability based valuation it is about a third of where it should be.

Nothing has changed here. The directors have sold shares. A lot of shares. There is safety in numbers. If three directors sell it is a clear signal. Don't be side tracked by the bounce. The trend in the share price is sharply lower. Investors think they know what is going to reverse that trend. Those in the know think otherwise.

Be careful.

There certainly could be a lot of people getting burned in the next few weeks. We all know about caveat emptor. But those who know and understand what's going on with this company, its operations and its acreage, assess the probability of a big success as far higher than the risk of a failure. It's simply a probabilities game.

I'm no fan of total conviction in any stock fuelled by masses of confirmation bias and I'm not and never will be a member of the guild. But conviction in the lower probability outcome seems simply stupid to me. How about a sceptical approach rather than simply backing an outside chance?

I understand why the apparent conviction stances of Pro, which can be on either side of the debate and change at a stroke with his own position, can be infuriating to many but at least we all know what he does and can make due allowance! His distortions seem no worse to me than those of the perpetual true believers, not that many of them realise that that's what they're doing. Anyway the massing of scores of believers is always likely to sway more, shall we say, less experienced investors than the inconsistent efforts of a single maverick poster so I know who I believe to be more dangerous to the innocent!

Rabito and POS, I don't think you really want me to spell out the basis for post 29247 here. Please go to the guild for the answer to that.

I am certainly committed to the long term success of the company and I have no doubt that the Directors are even more committed. I believe / hope that we are going to be pleasantly surprised by the results of the flow test, and my recent selling and repurchase of shares was designed to increase my holding in advance of that event.

Waste of time rabito :)These are $XLE type investors that don't see the work involved in creating opportunity through wildcat risk and never will.

That applies in life more generally johnswan - c-suite positions earn good money, irrespective of success or failure……;…often with people’s livelihoods impacted by their decision making!

…..as I’m sure you will attest

This BoD have given the opportunity for a lot of people to make a lot of money…..and that opportunity remains to the upside.

Forwood is entitled to his opinion, however I suspect Scot will never forgive him for expressing it.

Some of the comments are spot on though. Regardless of success or failure this management will come out the other side very wealthy.
