Does 88e have any oil reserves, that is the question?
The answer.........
Yes, 88 Energy Limited has oil reserves in Alaska, Namibia, and Texas: Alaska 88 Energy has four projects in Alaska's North Slope, including Project Phoenix, where they discovered a multi-hundred-million-barrel oil and NGL resource. In April 2024, 88 Energy confirmed a light oil discovery at the Hickory-1 well in Project Phoenix. Namibia 88 Energy has a 20% working interest in Petroleum Exploration Licence (PEL 93) in onshore Namibia. Texas 88 Energy has producing assets in the Texas Permian Basin, where they produce around 355 barrels of oil equivalent per day. 88 Energy's portfolio also includes a prospective resource of 3.4 billion BOE and 2P reserves of 94 million barrels of oil.
88E = STRONG BUY
PANR = STRONG SELL
This would be a fantastic opportunity to sell your Panr and buy into the 20 bagger to be 88E........

![](https://images.advfn.com/static/default-user.png) Helpful putting in so much overtime these days including strange ranting weekends. He clearly is under extreme pressure from those above him. He only has one company to attack,that’s all his limited ability is capable of and even then much of what he pumps out is total garbage. Tonight’s attack is gas imports as if that is new news. He forgets the excelerate fsru import talk from last year. Imports via converted exported terminal or an fsru,what matters is what is best for Alaska and as has been pointed out and always ignored by helpful,is that a pipeline allows for a fixed price for gas supplied by pantheon versus a future of imported lng with unknown global supply market prices for the decades to come. Clearly the independent report by woodmac favoured the pipeline. I am honest enough to say I don’t know which way the state will go,but you won’t see that type of honesty from helpful. But with the president of the usa as well as the governor of the state of Alaska publicly supporting a pipeline,it is surely reasonable to think that the pipeline option has to be taken very seriously. |
Helpful, Mate, I thinking you are wasting your life here. |

"“We believe the Kenai LNG terminal offers the quickest and lowest-cost solution to bring additional natural gas to Southcentral Alaska and beyond,” says Bruce Jackman, Vice President of Marathon’s Kenai Refinery. “Our Kenai refinery employees work around the clock to provide gasoline, diesel, and jet fuel to their fellow Alaskans, and a reliable supply of natural gas is critical to the refinery’s operations"

Energy Hilcorp affiliate and Chugach Electric announce proposal to convert facility in Nikiski for LNG imports By Sean Maguire Updated: 6 minutes ago Published: 43 minutes ago
The shuttered Kenai LNG plant in Nikiski. (Loren Holmes / ADN file) Harvest Alaska, an affiliate of Hilcorp Alaska, announced Thursday that it is proposing to acquire and convert a shuttered natural gas export facility in Nikiski to start receiving imported gas.
The imported gas could start being received at the Kenai Peninsula facility as early as 2026, according to Harvest Alaska.
Chugach Electric Association — the state’s largest electric utility — said it is in talks for the potential purchase of imported gas from the Nikiski plant.
Southcentral Alaska utilities and cities are scrambling to plan for an anticipated shortfall of gas from Cook Inlet, which has supplied the region for decades. Railbelt utilities have gas contracts with Hilcorp expiring over the next few years, and Hilcorp, the region’s largest gas producer, has warned it cannot meet upcoming demand beyond those contracts based on production from the Inlet.
Last year, Chugach Electric warned that imported gas could see power prices rise by roughly 10%.
Under the proposal announced Thursday, the other four Railbelt utilities could secure gas supplies from the Nikiski plant.
The Nikiski LNG plant operated for over 40 years and was mothballed in 2011.
Marathon Petroleum acquired the plant from ConocoPhillips Alaska in 2018, and then announced plans to convert the facility for exports.
Enstar — Southcentral Alaska’s natural gas utility — last month announced its own plans to construct an imported gas facility. The utility told state regulators earlier in the week that it had signed an exclusivity agreement with Glenfarne — a New-York based company — to advance those plans.
This is a developing story. Check back for updates.
Correction: An earlier version of this article incorrectly said Chugach Electric Association had already agreed to purchase gas from the import facility.
Imported LNG is necessary.
It matches up to any such gas from a $44 billion Alaska pipeline.
It gets first mover status.
And will compete with any pipeline, making the pipeline gas more uneconomic.
There's not a big enough market in Alaska for imported LNG and gas pipeline gas and Cook Inlet gas.
Note Glenfarne involved.

I fear that you miss the point that new potential investors will only have access to this thread and not to the Masonic guild whose members only seem to appear here when things are going well. Thank Flight for the Discord channel and the several non guild members that I know of ( since 2016) who are happy to share their knowledge openly |

You're getting very defensive about the Alaska gas pipeline.
What is your connection?
I do know where Alaska is, I think.
After my geography knowledge what is left to attack?

Sorry, do you realise where Alaska is and do you think the US aren't already supplying Japan with LNG?Keep helping |

My understanding is Qatar does not allow resell. As for the lower 48, the IER points to ALaska LNG being more competitive with US already ~10% cheaper than Australian sources.https://english.kyodonews.net/news/2025/02/8126fca86e59-japan-pm-to-pledge-more-lng-imports-from-us-in-talks-with-trump.htmlKeep helping |
