28/1/2022 07:44 | Latest article on PANR from Petroleum News. Unusually there's no photo of Erik Opstad (88E's General Manager of Alaskan Operations) attached to the article. Must be an oversight on Kay's part. ;) | scot126
28/1/2022 07:36 | I’m always of the opinion each to their own . But it’s best to be honest . However the first point of risk management is not to believe a single word written on an investment forum ever ! Each person has their own agenda , born from their hope , wish , invested , not invested and so on . The investment case for PANR is sound and the potential is great. There are places to carry out research , fact based . The starting point is the London stock exchange website and the history of RNS. | winner66
28/1/2022 07:27 | Absolutely Chris, Pro's been non existant over at TXP recently - says it all really. | mojad5

28/1/2022 07:18 | Some absolute rubbish posted overnight. I don't and never have talked my own book. I just say it how it is. 1) Yes I did de-risk pre the webinar, sold around 40% of my holding. I'd previously posted this was my intention. Sure I expected a better price in the run up to the operations BUT the CB's stopped that happening :( 2) No, I won't be buying in UNLESS the testing is a resounding success and I don't believe the market grasps the real value So in summary if the share price goes down from here I WILL NOT BE A BUYER. I'm not interested in adding to my position unless there is a material change to the upside. | ngms27
28/1/2022 05:29 | rich, ngms does shut up.....thats when he is long and hoping for a share price rise. When he has sold he will then point out all the risks, be they very real and possible or 99.9% certain never to happen. The whole idea of psycological trading is to create fear, to create worry......if you can create fear you can make people sell some or all of their shares.......default is survival, risk averse........so if you create lots of fear and worry by poiting out legitmate or illegitmate concerns you can make people make up their mind to sell some or all to be careful. Likewise, if you create an "echo chamber" of positive only - you can make people feel very comfortable to risk more than they normally would and therefore get the share price to rise further. PANR is actually now, fully funded, significantly lower risk. You have Talitha testing, you have Theta West drilling and you have Alkaid in the bag with 1 or 2 production wells in the summer/autumn. If Talitha and Theta West fail you are backed up then by Alkaid to recover everything back again. Lots of things means less risk. One trick ponies like ADV are the high risk shares, where it is pure binary on a single result. The negative posters know this, however they dont have the balls to take a bigger risk than normal - so they have sold some or all and hope to buy back in again on good news - with as lower price as possible. So now they will tell you all the risks, all the charts, all about everything thats going to negatively effect the price - to create fear and panic and worry......and encourage people to sell. This game has been played for years on the Bulletin Boards and will continue for years to come. | pro_s2009
28/1/2022 04:35 | Agree Chessman2, the bickering is counter productive. | hondacbf
28/1/2022 00:06 | Posters here should be shouting about the prospects rather than trying to belittle ngms who is also a holder. Hopefully, we can encourage new shareholders instead of showing them bickering holders. Is 83/84p the new cap or will we rise to the 90s? I think 90p is the next stop. I expect the price of oil to continue increasing which should be good news for PANR and my other oil stocks. I just hope we will not see news similar to a year ago. | chessman2
27/1/2022 20:26 | Understood dhb, makes sense. Enjoy your holiday 👍 | probabilityofsuccess
27/1/2022 20:07 | POS, a combination of selling other stocks and adding funds to my SB account so that it is 100% funded. No change in my exposure to PANR, just allows me to relax on holiday. | dhb368
27/1/2022 20:06 | So that's a no on ANY practical experience then. Thought so | madd_rip
27/1/2022 19:54 | Dhb “have de-leveraged completely” as in don’t hold any spreadbet or cfd’s but still hold shares or do you mean don’t have any position at all? | probabilityofsuccess
27/1/2022 19:32 | Ngms, I think we were all expecting more from the BFF than they are now suggesting. But that reduced guidance has been known for a bit now and I suspect a few de-risked the day after they suggested ‘moveable oil’ and not bopd. It the RNS states what they have already suggested ie moveable oil, I can see shareholders being disappointed but if you are going to panic and bail, perhaps you should already have done so. Saying that, I am expecting some flow and will be in the disappointed camp if it doesn’t happen. I will be out of contact, on a boat, for half of Feb so have de-leveraged completely to avoid getting caught out in case the BFF is a complete dud. | dhb368
27/1/2022 19:25 | Do you admit that regardless of education you've never ACTUALLY worked on a rig or had physical experience of working on a drilling platform? | madd_rip
27/1/2022 19:16 | Ngms - re: "..but they didn't farm in did they. Perhaps they know something we don't after studying the data?"It was Pantheon who rejected the farm-in deal. | bigwavedave
27/1/2022 19:07 | Ngms do you not think everyone invested in an e&p don't understand the risk .... Come on give it up it's getting so bloody boring | sirmark
27/1/2022 19:02 | Winner66, please feel free to go to the guild and listen to posts that are all upbeat and don't consider potential outcomes other than it's all great. | ngms27
27/1/2022 19:01 | dhb368, but they didn't farm in did they. Perhaps they know something we don't after studying the data? If you care to look at the Talitha drill reasons it certainly wasn't all about the SMD, it was also located for the Kuparuk and the possibility of Slope and Basin Floor fans. The October 2020 presentation page is entitled Not a One Project Company showing these targets. Then in bold it states Four projects in one geographical location. If you are all being honest the post Talitha webcast with the eSeis data was very upbeat and suggested a much better outcome that the goals they have set now for the Lower BFF. | ngms27
27/1/2022 18:58 | This thread is being ruined by negative unsubstantiated posts by 3 people , intent on causing reactions . The best thing to do is ignore them , let the do their thing . It’s absolutely obvious none of them are invested , why on earth would you invest if your view is so constantly negative. All 3 suffering with KBWLS. And those 5 letters fit them perfectly! | winner66
27/1/2022 18:50 | Madd_RIP, I can actually answer yes to that question :) However you do not have to have have worked in the field to know anything about it. You could for instance have a degree in Geology, you could have spent thousands of hours reading technical papers, you could have spent thousands of hours researching companies in the sector etc etc. | ngms27 |
