Market derisking as it did on the previous drill.

Trying to work out of licences being the sticking point to current price. There is no obvious reason why the share price is struggling, no obvious large out way of sells to buys . We are on the cusp of a very special time , the greatest possible transformation, yet the share price is showing no signs of reflecting . So on the basis the bod are still working closely with authorities re certain licences is the issue . I really do not know of any other sound explanations

Agree with what you said re CHAR Jonny. I bought in there this morning for the first time sub-10p. Goes to show in this market there is usually a lot of time still to get on board even after a substantial derisking event.

CHAR currently up 53%, wouldn’t mind that kind of muted reaction to a PANR announcement.

With 2 weeks to go the webinar the countdown has begun. Any drilling success will see bid IMO as they potential farm-in partner who was on the line will surely be first out the post to secure the asset knowing they have been privy to more information that their competitors.

CHAR just drilled an high impact well that brought in approx 60% more resource than base case.

The market reaction is considerably muted despite development payback is < 2 years.

That's the market we are in unfortunately.

Momentum is well know to outperform the indices longer time but is very volatile. I did some published work on this in the early 2000's and with the data I had 6 month's price increase was the sole best metric for the FTSE 350 stocks.

Picking through a strategy is still a pick! Indeed there is some evidence that rules-based screens (momentum, value, wuality etc) outperform individual judgment as we tend to be suckers for stories.

If you read the article Chris Dillow makes it clear that it is not a "pick".What I've been doing with these portfolios is to test hypotheses - that momentum and defensives outperform on average; that losers keep losing; that market risk is not rewarded; and so on. This is why I form the portfolios without using any judgment about the stocks' merits: if I did that, it would be hard to distinguish good performance by a strategy from good judgment on my part - which would not tell us much.

kiplig. You have maybe not researched the past regarding Pantheon when Moalcy did support it a few years ago. As chumbo says, once bitten, twice shy... So no, except AST who cannot be on the bucket list for obvious reasons.

Pantheon is one of the picks in Chris Dillow's momentum portfolio for 2022, as one of the biggest risers in the last 12 months: page 51 of Investors' Chronicle

Not only that, but he ignored the fund-raise

I see Malcy hasn't seen fit to reintroduce PANR to his bucket list. Once bitten?

Personal opinion is that's over optimistic.Best not to expect results that early, if anything is offered it's likely an operations update.
