@Forwood - “ This includes a willingness to shape reality for others with selective and often incorrect interpretation of facts and events. Whether this is deliberate or unconscious is debatable, ie he may actually believe what he says at any one time without realising it is inconsistent with his previous position. ” ———;- With all due respect, anybody shaping investment decisions based on anonymous hearsay on any internet chat board, will somehow be taken advantage of, one way or another, by smarter people. Needless to say, investing in the AIM market isn’t for everybody.

Seems pro is caught in the crossfire of truth and facts and is flailing around like a tantrum blessed toddler. Keep it up.

Thanks Forwood - he’s reverted to his slightly more subtle approach where he uses certain language to sow seeds of doubt, which there’s not a lot anyone can do about…………but if he continues with his misleading statements on company performance/operations as opposed to share price ‘concerns̵7; I’ll challenge.

Don't forget, if Pro bans you and you want to rebut something he says, PM me and I'll post it.

Of course he cares what others think.
He doesn't like his deceit being called out. That is why he bans people - I made that list today!

It is a game. Just part of his day job.

He would have made a good used car salesman - not a compliment.
More of a grifter really.

To be fair to PRO, if you just want to trade oil stocks he would be a good one to keep an eye on. He spends a lot of time researching stocks and is cheaper than OilmanJim, who does the same thing ;)
Just don't believe everything he says.

swendab - going back to your post 28542, the word is 'schadenfreude' and it refers to taking pleasure from someone else's misfortune.

I'm also a psychologist and I can't say I'd reach quite the same conclusion about Pro as your pal. Technically, one shouldn't make such judgements without a full assessment including personal history, face to face interviews, etc. All we have is the behaviour shown on these boards, the most apparent being an above average intelligence and drive, an unwillngness to accept criticism and changeable goals / agenda. He pursues his agenda quite ruthlessly and his views on a share change according to his agenda. This includes a willingness to shape reality for others with selective and often incorrect interpretation of facts and events. Whether this is deliberate or unconscious is debatable, ie he may actually believe what he says at any one time without realising it is inconsistent with his previous position. However, I think he does realise this.

It is this distorting reality in pursuit of a changeable agenda which others find most enfuriating. There's an element of sociopathic tendencies there, with a lack of empathy for the impact of his behaviour on others. But a true sociopath wouldn't care so much what other people think of him. His evasive verbal gymnastics and contortions when confronted with his inconsistencies, and selective use of information do suggest he cares what others think. He has some narcissistic tendencies but I'm unsure it amounts to the full blown disorder, which involves an inflated sense of self importance, a deep need for excessive attention and admiration, and a lack of empathy, which would undoubtedly lead to troubled relationships.

I think he has to appreciate that if we wants the success he so obviously craves, he needs to moderate the distortions and changeability, ie be more consistent and to push the agenda less.... 'less is more' would be an appropriate motto.

For what its worth I like you challenging the dribble that comes out of a particular dominant poster here.
It brings some much needed balanced to this thread.
At some point in time people need to make a risk vs reward decision. I'm so glad I took it on when I did as it give so much breathing room. We are heavily undervalued here and the upside is rediculous.

@dhb368 - thank you, precisely what I was looking for. Surely they’ve sold into the Friday RNS and probably dropped a few mill yesterday as well, so I reckon you easily could be right. If I was Farallon, I’d try and shift the lot prior to the ‘big Q’ being answered - will it flow at a commercial rate? which I reckon will be a late September / early October answer. That gives them 2 months to clean the lot out. A bit annoying as it inevitably will subdue the in-between-news share price trajectory. Well, that’s the name of the game…

ringsing, 79.2 million shares were traded between 26/6 and 1/8.

We have no idea how Farallon are currently selling but previously it has accounted for 20-25% of volume. So 'perhaps' they have sold 16-20 million shares, approximately half of those held on 23 June.

Is somebody here attempting to extrapolate how much stock Farallon may have left ? Last TR1 is now some 5-6w ago, so they could be rather low by now…

Officer Digby, I believe it's detrimental for Pro's knowingly false narratives to go unchallenged. My posts have largely focussed on challenging these. There seems to however be a thread developing that people putting out misleading statements is perfectly okay In the pursuit of being a perfectly balanced investor. But to be honest I can't be bothered with it anymore, I will leave it to you, HD and the likes to challenge his misleading comments. Good luck with that.
