Up with the traders moving in then down as they take profits and shorts come in. Exactly as I said it would. This is a pure trading stock for now.

Big 'sell in May' ahead once the webinar pump is over imo.

stu31 - can you provide a link to "I think I read somewhere they were 1000-2000 bopd?"

I can't find any evidence of Repsol reporting flow from Qugruk 1, Qugruk 3,
Qugruk 4, Qugruk 5, Qugruk 6 or Qugruk 7.

However, they did report a blowout at Qugruk 2, which "sent some 42,000 gallons of fresh-water based drilling mud onto the ice pad and the surrounding snow-covered tundra, and vented an unknown amount of gas"

It appears they did eventually hit a sweet spot three years later with Qugruk 8 and finally released some flow rates.

edit,
there were actually some reports of flow from Qugruk 6 in 2013;

"The oil company experienced another spill earlier this month when a hose ruptured spilling over 6,500 gallons of oil mixture as well as other fluids at the Qugruk 6 site along the Colville River delta."

As comparisons are continually made with Pikka-Horseshoe can anyone confirm what the flow rates were from the vertical wells there? I think I read somewhere they were 1000-2000 bopd?

Senisble update from Conor McGuire (Value Situations) this afternoon:

"PANR continues to progress through its 2022 drilling campaign and during Q1 provided a series of positive updates to the market that I’ve previously commented on (here, here, here and here). Most recently, PANR published its interim (half-year) results on the final day of the quarter last week which did not contain any material new information following the recent updates.

PANR has made significant progress towards unlocking the value of its enormous oil resource of ~17 billion+ BO on the North Slope of Alaska over the past 4-5 months, with key takeaways being that the $96m capital raise in December has de-risked the equity and likely fully funded the company to an exit/liquidity event, while the Winter 2022 campaign achieved the pre-drilling objectives in proving the presence and movability of high quality oil, with the scale of the resource possibly exceeding management’s estimates (management will be providing updated estimates in due course).

In summary, PANR is on track to unlock one of the largest oil discoveries since the 1960’s, but remains priced like an option despite the proving of resources to date. At the current enterprise value PANR’s estimated recoverable reserves of ~2.2bn BO (which is conservative) are valued at just $0.35/barrel - recall that this compares to a value of $3.10/barrel for Oil Search’s acquisition of the Pikka-Horsehoe oil assets back in 2017 when the oil price was ~$50 - $60/barrel. Against the current backdrop of geopolitical risk and high (and likely persistent) inflation, I’d argue PANR’s assets are worth comfortably more than $3.10/barrel now.

Indeed, management estimate that on an industry standard NPV10 basis assuming a $90 oil price, the Alkaid Deep asset is worth $13.60/barrel, while the Alkaid Shallow horizon is worth $10.60/barrel - together these two assets comprise ~481m BO recoverable of PANR’s total of ~2.2bn+ BO recoverable and so it should be clear that in applying a similar NPV to the enormous Theta West asset (estimated at ~1.4bn BO recoverable) there is substantial upside to PANR’s equity value today.

Management will host a webinar in late April that will provide greater detail and their conclusions following the recent drilling and testing campaign. I remain very positive on PANR’s prospects and the likelihood of further substantial upside ahead."

Some very chunky late reported buys again !! Someone is getting a sizeable holding it appears?? Pretty sure volume & volatility will be pretty high for the next few days, possibly weeks as the chance to convert trading account shares into Tax efficient ISA & SIPP accounts presents itself to UK investors... Make sure you use this year's allowances (GCT in particular)Make sure you top up your SIPP & ISA allowance for next year as soon as possible from Wednesday... ahead of a likely surge in share price around the Webinar.. There is some fairly open manipulation going on with this share. Just hold. Let them shake the tree. Raining apples. But I like dem apples.

Rising bottom forming nicely. Personally I think PANR will build into the Webinar and hit 145 and sustain that level into Summers drills. If Alkaid ia successful we will see broker valuation reflected and over 200. But after that its going to take a lot more to move the needle. Hold 12-18 months for true value...

Farm In
Buy Out
Successful flow and laterals BFF lower/Upper.

These are the major catalysts.

My only worry is that PANR have demonstrated year on year some seemingly poor on-the-ground decision making. There is never a year where there arent a series of major co*ck-ups. Despite what they said about this season it was a series of blunders that meant no proper SMD LBFF and UBFF test. This is always the case. And we ALL know this seasons tests were a let down over all. 3 (THREE!) weeks to test 3 x 10 ft sections and they hashed it in LBFF. No SMD. Bad choices over Kaparuk last year.

Makes me twitchy that they can drill a lateral without making a hash of it at Alkaid.

DESPITE that... the share price trickles up and sustains. If we werent in a major pinch with Russia then this seasons performance would have been more severley punnished.

Just my opinion so dont anyone get their knickers in a twist

The buyers are playing a technical blinder! Whenever it looks to push the chart into overbought, they let it fall back and unwind the shorter term indicators, without letting it fall too far. Then it's back on the attack! The daily is turning up again - MACD yet to cross over but looks a matter of time, and probably quite soon. Like others I'm surprised by the strength and can only assume stake building, but perhaps best not to fight it. Let it rise!

Seen Pro_lapse on numerous forums over the years. Pumper dumper, dumper pumper. He has ZERO credibility. Less than ZERO. Hes been laughed out more times than Ive had hot dinners.

Wouldn't listen to a single word (s)he says. He must be smarting over TXP.

In the bin.

You'd think Pro would learn.PANR rerate even when the drilling season looks like a failure (2021 anybody?)This time (despite what they say) it was not 100% success.. but I'm too afraid to sell.Because the razzle dazzle of the webinar looms brightly.

The question is are the BOD in regular talks with the Majors and specifically have they kept an open dialogue throughout the winter season with those who were close to partnering Pantheon last year ?

I suspect they are and part of the confidence displayed by Jay in recent interviews is because he knows they have struck black gold in the ANS and in a far greater volume than anyone could have expected 2 years ago.....................
