01/3/2016 17:37 | Classic tara post to try and lure the gullible in . . . Why all the name changes since your MO is so obvious . . . "As gold goes up towards $5,000 . . ." | cufes2
01/3/2016 17:32 | Look at the facts they sell to poly for a good price. They declare they will use the money to invest. The company's assets have been worth more than the share price for years but the share price declined anyway. The lent $6m but wrote it off as lost in the same year - how does that happen? The directors own near 50%. Bought assets from themselves. If they wanted to take money out of the company as directors remuneration not dividends who could stop them? Are they poor fund managers who lend money to lost causes how do you know they have not done the same again? Risk, what risk? | fenners66
01/3/2016 17:14 | POLY share price near years high | mikeh30
01/3/2016 12:01 | Oops, Fenner was probably hoping for better in Ashtead AHT this morning as it has dropped -117.50 as I post? Well I have now seen that a certain poster above invested in CNKS, when there seemed to be a huge uncertainty over things in the background. and he was probably hoping for better in Ashtead AHT this morning as well .8-( dropped -117.50 as we speak? That makes me feel better;perhaps his judgement isn't as sound as he thinks it is?. As QP says on the CKNS thread 'There is such a torrid recent history to QPP that , in my opinion only, it cannot be ruled out that the regulators may or may not want to make an example of what may or may not be good corporate governance and what may or may not generally speaking be acceptable/good practice in the market-place. At this stage, and in my opinion only, one cannot rule out the possibility that the fall-out from QPP may or may not have impact and significance.' Investors hate uncertainty. I am not trying to be mean, we have losers from time to time each of us.Just interested in the truth in OVG. I have faith in OVG. imo | hazl
01/3/2016 09:58 | Agree like the look of this one | mikeh30
01/3/2016 09:56 | PLUS In this kind of stock I don't expect a dividend, just a growing share price in a sector that's bang on trend! IMO | hazl
01/3/2016 09:20 | I agree about the dividend being a weak argument woodfire. Very few smaller miners would ever be able to do it as woodfire says its a growth stock. Lots of miners went rapidly down hill in the last few years.....many didn't survive. I am interested in your comment about losing money, have they ever taken money out physically? I would genuinely like to know or have you a personal grievance about losing money on gold mining stocks in the last few years? I don't intend to bury my head in the sand,if you have real facts, lets have them,I don't want to waste my money either. From where I am sitting this is a company that has had the foresight to sell an asset and get some good shares in return, during a difficult time for the gold industry. They have bought shares back in October.... IMO | hazl
01/3/2016 07:17 | That from a bitter and twisted ex holder? Shares are about buying low and selling high. Assets are now around £20M V £5M company valuation. That's fact as the POLY shares have gone up and the U.K. pound has fallen. ( since last accounts €21M assets) For safety one hasn't the massive asset base Then if gold does what I think it will you have a geared play on that as well. The most any investor can lose is about £2M if he bought EVERY free share. The downside is de risked yet again by the last directors buy as that is the lowest price he could make a bid. The bid would also need a vote. Plus in another miner comes along to take the gold acreage off our hands look for more fun. It's a recovery / asset play NOT A DIVIDEND STOCK Good luck | wood fire
01/3/2016 01:25 | Additionally your directors % shareholdings are out of date - there are treasury shares which means the direct quoted holding are 48%+ then what about indirect? They have "Lost" € 25m in 2 years including writing off $6m the last year. If you believe there was nothing untoward in that transaction then surely one must question their competancy at least. Waste money investing here? | fenners66
01/3/2016 00:55 | Ok so you just love talking amongst yourselves but just in case there are any new out there listening, this share has tanked since the Polymetal shares were gained , because; the directors have shown that they have no intention of ever paying a dividend. So it matters not that they have assets, no one else will ever get anywhere near them. Is that clear? | fenners66
29/2/2016 20:53 | GOLD is well up tonight bodes well for tomorrow perhaps..... imo | hazl
29/2/2016 16:05 | Just started to move up. The name of the game is to get in at this massive discount and let the market do the rest. | wood fire
29/2/2016 13:58 | Not sure about that as 25P buys you over a quid of cash or shares in POLY. ( POLY shares can be sold at any time ) THATS WITHOUT ANY GOLD ACREAGE VALUATION !!! | wood fire
29/2/2016 13:53 | Quite a few trades on ISDX I see. Guess we will have to see what the gold -price does,in the near term. IMO | hazl
29/2/2016 13:26 | Going to be a greater deal of fun over the next year or so. Stupid valuation. Right place right time comes to mind.! Any new investor gets free money ( in this market) !!! | wood fire
29/2/2016 13:09 | Beginning to be noticed by the looks of it ..... | hazl
29/2/2016 11:27 | The boys in the know are buying gold shares on a pe of 20 plus. Here we have a gold stock that would pay investors one pound notes for 23P plus more for the acreage.!! When results show this in B and W look for 17P plus in my view. That's without any deals.!! | wood fire
29/2/2016 09:09 | I enjoyed your version of POLY in the previous post....an interesting ploy! | hazl
29/2/2016 08:53 | As gold goes up towards $5,000 the share price will I think go from an 80% discount to a 200% premium, investors start to value the gold license. As soon as mining starts then it's worth yet more. | wood fire
29/2/2016 08:51 | Yes I'm with you on this one woodfire! | hazl
29/2/2016 08:42 | PLOY market cap now £2.8BN | wood fire
29/2/2016 08:39 | Market cap still under £5M.! | wood fire
29/2/2016 08:30 | This is about the best value you will find on the market today. The pounds fall just adds hundreds of thousands onto its value. £20M of assets. Real solid assets. It's POLY shares will go up with the price of gold | wood fire
