CGO is led by Brian McMaster and Philip Richards. Pretty sure both are bullish on European based gold development opportunities and they could take Ortac's European project off OTC at firesale price (event though it's had $20m? spent on it to date), simply hold it for better gold price environment and they'll be quids in.

Will Casa Mining now list in London or perhaps Canada or even Australia on the own right?

Totally agree maverick247 - best to let the flippers from the recent placing out, let the share price consolidate between 2.5p and 3.5p and build from there to much, much, much, much higher share price levels....

OTC don't even have a maiden JORC yet.

Talk of even 25p is premature.


HUM is probably the best AIM comparator, take a look at the time frames.

OTC will need to raise around $80-100m and 3 years at least before any gold is produced.

Keep your feet on the ground.

OTC may be worth 25-50p in due course but not anytime soon.

SIGNIFICANT NEW DRILL RESULTS ANNOUNCED

Casa Mining Ltd intersects 24.75m of 8.04 g/t Au at its Akyanga Deposit



Ortac Resources Ltd is pleased to announce that Casa Mining Ltd ("CASA"), in which Ortac holds an effective 45% economic stake, reports significant new gold assay results from the expansion and infill drill programme currently underway at the Akyanga gold deposit ("Akyanga") in the Democratic Republic of the Congo ("DRC").



Highlights



· Highest ever grade and intersected thickness drilled at the Akyanga Deposit - 24.75m @ 8.04 g/t Au from 200.75m, incl. 5m @ 22.63 g/t Au from 207.10m



· Drill results expected to extend the open pittable + 2g/t Au resource to the south



· Visible gold logged in hole currently being drilled



· Drill results validate the potential for Akyanga to become a +2Moz gold resource





Nick von Schirnding, Ortac's Executive Chairman, commented:



"These latest assay results further support our view that the Akyanga Deposit is likely to develop into a major resource in excess of 2 million ounces gold with very attractive grades. The drilling results - the highest ever grade and thickness reported - represent a turning point in the history of this asset. Casa and thé DRC that's what's it's all about for me and we all know how the Chinese Love The DRC - find a good resource and no problems getting these Mines into production

grannyboy - you're right there, and once bitten twice shy also springs to mind. I'm too old in the tooth to be putting into any more speculative investments.

Looking a bit more closely at today's placing, it is surely promising that the 3 Directors (one now ex-Director) have put up £40k, £40k, and £20k between them.

One day Rodney
