OMI (and investors) have died, but are being kept from going cold by a care provider (NM) providing an artificial heart and lung machine.

This care provider (as it is a business!!!)? cares only for itself however, and not for the zombi corpse. So it surely has some plan for securing all the corpses estate after which it will pull the plug

Why should they do anything else?

He's a idiot as most he's clearly shouting that he's shorting this (doubt very much) but can't say with whom he's shorting and what position ? LOL imbicille attention seeker

Augustus thinks that Newmont would be stupid enough to buy 20% of a company a couple of months before it goes bust.

They would of done substantial due diligence. IMO we will not have long to find out the future of Uruguay for OMI. In the meantime it will be bouncy castle time!

augustus gloom

Quoted parent company would survive. Uruguayan subsidiary may have to close. Do you know of any parent company guarantees that could affect the recent cash injection ?. None stated so I would presume not.

OMI would survive with the Colombian subsidiary.

The point I was trying to make was time related. Do I believe OMI will go bust between today and (hopefully) proving up Anza following further drilling campaigns? I think the chances of that are miniscule too.
Truth is without news we're drifting. Need to get more of a flavour of nm's intentions and the timeframes associated with them. An RNS laying out the plan for further drilling would do this.
If the gold is there in abundence (again I'm relying on nm's DD)then the the money will follow and liabilities can be squared.
Just my view.

Pebsi,

What's the probability of a nuclear war?

What's the probability of a company going bust - AFTER - the court has already appointed administrators and the company freely admitting that its liabilities are far greater than its assets?

The only way that OMI are not bust - is if they have somehow managed to isolate the small amount of assets held by the parent company against the debts of its subsidiary.
These debts include large environmental charges - which are surely going to need to be paid.

August- Could be a nuclear war, that would be bad too? I was trying to be realistic. You’re right company could go bust, I might win the lottery the same weekend. Pointless b.b. atm. No decent information or points of discussion. Lse leading the way on this one sorry to say

I would say that worst case short term is suspension and delisting - because they are bust in December when the administrators report that they can't pay their creditors.

Cheers for the reply b1. I added another couple of grands worth today. The share price movement is indicating that one promising rns and this is going to do something special. It appears the share price has somewhat stabilised at the moment. Worst case short term is the 5.4p. Best case short term is a lot higher than 7p. Medium and longer term the sky’s the limit depending on drilling results which I hope are a formality after nm’s DD.
