Ormonde will continue to keep the market appraised over the coming weeks as work continues towards concluding what the board believes will be an extremely value enhancing deal, as expeditiously and efficiently as possible. While the transaction is well advanced, there still can be no certainty that a deal will be concluded.

Joyeuz Noel! I anticipate another announcement in the coming months about an extremely value enhancing deal to come! Nothing came of the rumour that Rio Tinto was going to gobble up this small company. Rio seem to have plenty of problems to worry about, besides this small fish!

I recommend The Humpty Dumpty Man for reading. Its about a rags to riches stockbroker who became a MD for Merrill Lynch. He grew up above a pub in Omagh, Northern Ireland and was a runner for clients in the pub to the bookies when he was a teen. He walked away from the multi-milion a year job, and decided to write a book.

I bought a new fridge today. I spend as much time researching a new stock as I do researching for a new fridge!

Resolutions 1-5 all got voted for.

But resolutions 6-8 are the ones allowing the board to issue more shares. That is put back 17th December to ensure our activist investor is on board with the proposals.



And they suggest that the 'new deal' is dependent on those resolutions.

Sounds fine to me. I'm sure our activist investor has got a clearer idea of what is good value for shareholders than our BOD do!

So either the new transaction is good and justifies issuing shares to achieve it or it's not good and we start to look at getting assets back to shareholders.
