08/8/2022 16:04 | 1.5m shares would have cost £30k (assuming you could get them) 18 months ago but now cost only £3k yet no-one seems interested. AIM is the only market on earth when a stock is at a sale price yet no-body buys - preferring to pay many multiples later ? Fools and money are easily parted. | m1sterx
08/8/2022 10:24 | Market makers are playing around with tiny volumes and have moved many stocks well down accordingly, it will not take much to move these same stocks back up. ORR has been a popular stock and is still well followed so it is a early candidate for a re-rate, one decent RNS should suffice. 1.95p in February 2021 to .19p currently is totally unwarranted IMO. | aussiebeach
08/8/2022 10:07 | Looks like this wants to move higher, I do expect some significant news over the next month or so, I suspect a royalty will be sold, the Muratdere royalty could be worth £1m+ for a start. I would not rule out some form of co-operation agreement concerning the Cameroon licence package, a JV cannot be ruled out, however if a deal is done I expect it will be far better than the deal struck with Iamgold in Senegal. Iamgold also have to spend $4m on ORR's licence over the next 21 months so a significant amount of drilling/updates to come. The share price/market valuation of Oriole is bonkers at only £4m, not much chart resistance back to the .35p region either. | observer007
08/8/2022 08:04 | Saw this over the weekend, applicable to ORR, the shares are down 90% though, when theses stocks reverse from current levels fortunes will be made for the lucky holders. | silverspoon2009
06/8/2022 20:46 | Drill results for CLP and Bibemi. As per the RNS of 25 July "Results are anticipated during Q3-2022" so within the next 39 trading days. Not long to go to a possible re-rating. | haggismchaggis
05/8/2022 12:33 | Amur just (11:17 today) announced sale of one of their projects, for $35m. They are up 48.9% with a MCap of £18.1m right now. Their RNS: "The divesture price represents a premium of 119% to the Company's market capitalisation of 3 August 2022 ( £13.2 million) and 44% to the current Kun-Manie book value of US$24.3 million as at 31 December 2021 in Amur's latest annual report. The closing share price on 3 August 2022 was 0.89 pence per share." | haggismchaggis
05/8/2022 09:15 | This has been posted on LSE this morning, suggests ORR could sell Senegal to Iamgold & retain a royalty. It is very interesting to note that Iamgold are spending 31% of their annual exploration budget in Senegal this year, all around ORR, that is a significant increase on previous years. Separately they are also spending $20m on the Boto gold mine project, it seems they are really stepping up a gear in this region, one suspects ORR management would be very happy to sell their huge licence in Senegal to concentrate on Cameroon, what could it fetch, recent deals have changed hands for multiple hundreds of millions of $. In my view there is a window of opportunity for ORR management to press for a deal, in current markets cash is king, Iamgold have plenty ORR do not, if they could get £10m-£20m it would set ORR up for many a year and extract value from Cameroon - they could also retain a NSR on their ground which could ultimately be worth 10's of millions of $. The current market value of ORR is bordering on farcical therefore, no wonder a few folk are starting see the light and are buying in, a re-rate is odds on IMO. | flughafen17
05/8/2022 08:24 | Very well-clutched straw! | dogwalker
05/8/2022 08:03 | Interesting update yesterday by IAMGold regarding their Base Shelf: ".......will allow the Company to make offerings of common shares, first preference shares, second preference shares, debt securities, warrants, subscription receipts or any combination thereof of up to US$500 million during the next 25 months in the United States and Canada. The net proceeds from any such offerings are expected to be used by the Company to fund ongoing operations and capital expenditures, including the construction and development of the Côté Gold project, reducing its level of outstanding indebtedness from time to time, other discretionary capital programs, and for general corporate purposes".Looks as though their new top-team are getting their Ducks in a Row. Is Boto (and Senala/Oriole) in their sights? tightfist | tightfist
01/8/2022 07:06 | “Following the issue of these shares, the Directors will collectively hold 2.95% of the issued share capital of the Company as outlined in the above table.“ Pushing the boat out huh. Just re-emphasises how little skin in the game these underperforming clowns have. | terminator101

21/7/2022 08:59 | Hi gt; yes, I recalled the Sacrifice/Options deal too, FYI the announcements were dated 14.11.2019 and 02.03.2020..Looking back was a painful reminder how their subscription/placing prices have slumped over the past few years. Hopefully those investments will in due course flourish and the share price is currently close to the bottom? No guarantees! tightfist | tightfist

21/7/2022 08:04 | They did a salary sacrifice previously as well I think? For options? Building a nice position… | geotrav
21/7/2022 08:00 | Interesting to look back and view the Directors' ongoing investments. Their Participation in the Summer Salary Sacrifice scheme (67% of aggregate salary bill) coupled with the 29 June Subscription round, (especially by Eileen Carr) is IMO note worthy. tightfist | tightfist

19/7/2022 12:24 | You must have been here for the best part of 15 years Observer007, have you ever made any money out of this one in a mostly declining share... just curious | danieldruff2
19/7/2022 11:56 | For a junior ORR seems pretty well funded.. They had net cash of circa £850,000 at end December Received £403,000 tax rebate in April Recently raised £400,000 Even assuming a G&A burn of £50k a month that still leaves around £1.3m in the bank. Then there is the possible royalty sales that could raise more cash. | observer007
19/7/2022 11:48 | ORR Massive Gold and copper resources.Minimum 20 baggers potential on only JORC update possible at this level.Billions worth of Gold and copper assets.Dirt cheap entry.Directors buying with their salary for reason.Few panic sellers and Dram-pers done.Massive opportunity.IMO | 36jay
19/7/2022 11:04 | Pile of trash this share with no coffers in the kitty with poor assets and massively paid staff. EEE has assets that are top notch 2.5 million in bank and small market cap with small amount of stock on flotation | bspgamer |
