22/4/2003 09:41 | Going up again! I'm seriously thinking of jumping in here! | dina
17/4/2003 15:28 | Dont really agree with that. Total volume the last two days is less than 1.5% of the 175m shares in issue. and 300k of those were me. In financial terms it doesnt come to a cup of the cold stuff. I think its just small boys like me having a punt. 10P Please !!! | hillbrown
17/4/2003 14:32 | I smell something fishy here - and not my fingers. With this type of volume, I suspect that there is announcement coming on Monday. I agree with wrongprice: this is a hero or zero stock. | woozle1
17/4/2003 13:01 | OBS really starting to move now.wdik | rhiannon

16/4/2003 16:00 | thewrongprice.com member update Please log in at www.thewrongprice.co update Orbis is not the type of stock that we would normally recommend. Orbis has a market capitalisation of £3.5m but bank debts of £57m which are due in July this year. On the face of it the stock appears to be close to bankruptcy. So why do we like Orbis. First of all the directors believe that the banks will extend the banking facilities in July . The directors were brought in with the banks approval something they would not have done without prior understanding with the banks that the credit would be extended. The directors bought shares at 1.75-2p after working through the restructuring- a large vote of confidence. Orbis is a service company with real assets of only £12m but their is strong demand for security work and they are a market leader. Orbis turns over £45m per annum with continuing operations making over £5m. Also cashflow is strong with £9m expected this year. THe banks have an easy choice. Either liquidate and get around £12m or keep the company running and get paid £55m plus interest paid back over 6-10 years from the strong cashflow. Valuing the company on 8X cashflow would lead to a valuation of 8.5p and every multiple of cash flow would add 5p to the valuation. This next piece of news on the bank facilities will drive the price down to zero or upwards towards 10p. High risk , high reward. 16/4/2003 15:54 | Just got write up on wrongprice.com. Basically its going to 8p or down to zilch. Odds favour the former given that the directors have been buyers. | hillbrown
28/3/2003 18:56 | fickena check out AUX and give your honest opinion on the RIVO thread THANKYOU. | rivo
28/3/2003 13:10 | jwoolley, I only do this because you have come on other BB's asking us to check it out. Fundementally, 75m in debt, no cash in the bank and falling turnover and 8m loss last results, no ta! Chartisticly (is that a word?) Has broken it's falling trend can't see it breaking 3p, but again I refer to above! | fickena
