Recently the OPTI business model has become very clear to the market, B2B. With this type of model visibility is quite often very opaque.
Maybe the market is simply rerating Opti to this type of model.

TT - Oh not that old chestnut...."falling in love with a stock." That sir is a lazy ill thought out, ill conceived counter. IMHO there has been no material negative since I bought my OPTI shares. In fact, the opposite is true. Slimbiome is c12 month ahead of mine and probably most investors commercial horizon. LP-LDL may be c12 months late if TW was to be believed, but that is not the same as the company is it! LP-LDL is on track to my mind. SweetBiotix is almost certainly c6-9 month ahead of most investors horizon. SBTX was never in the original business plan, yet netted £5m for 660k in a mere 12 months.

You are confusing the daily price with company progress. If you don't see the progress, I'll ask you again...why don't you sell, lock in your profit and move on?

No you didn't say OPTI is a fraud, you implied you have seen the same red flags as BPRG. Not for the first time and not for the 2nd, but numerous times you have made this reference. You are trying to be cute, but you are not, the inference is clear for all to see.

I'm not important enough to be too close to the BOD. I think most reasonable people believe I share my research in good faith and trust I am not being led up the garden path. Only time will tell.

The unknown now is the frequency of the news flow. Let's hope it catches a few with their pants down.

It's obvious there are loads of traders with this stock Neft. It's worth remembering that so far (check the chart) this stock has ALWAYS recovered to 80p+.

re john henry post/F3rd and the 10k seller and who it could possibly be, maybe a PI, this person would have to have plenty, John henry himself has indicated in the past that he has many opti shares and yet is constanly knocking the share, just like TT, i personally dont get it with these apparent holders bashing even if they think things are not right, why do it, you would think that they are not exactly helping their cause, well in TT's case if has sold, and i am not sure whe has, he is helping his cause if he wants to buy back, interesting.

I'm pretty sure I remember people saying 'Don't fall in love with shares' when ASOS was embryonic! Luckily I ignored the advice!I do however think that OPTI is a good share to trade too (I also have a significant amount as a long term hold) surfing on the rises and troughs. I suspect many of the neysayers are doing just that!

Elrico its a case of supply and demand. im guessing the house broker was hoping recent news would attract buyers and clear the continued 20 15 10k seller. unfortunately demand isnt there. the only demand is from traders who are currently selling.
60p looks nailed on as the next test of support. To be honest i havent seen OPTIs stock this weak. Normally we would have seen demand kicking in, not so at the moment.

I think the share price "very disappointing action", is what we can all agree on,

eoy, 2015 something like 90p,

eoy, 2016 about 63p,

9th May 2017 actual 64p, after recent intra day touching over 90p

ok for those in at 8p, but the rest and there must be a lot, are unhappy, none more so than TT although he says he has got rid (of most) at 87p and below

SOH does, perhaps, not have the same concerns share price wise as us shareholders, he should do, although he is in it for the long term

Elrico,You make some valid points. But you can't deny with all this "great" news share price has disappointed. After all..as investors share price is all that really matters in the end.SOH and board concentrating on building business and not worried about day to day price fluctuations. But, sooner or later all this good news will have to be reflected in price. Only so long before markets apply less value to IP alone.

TT interesting comment. Looking at your points.... The placing you talk about for £1m? Opti used this, bought a new division as we all know and is now listed as skinbiotherapeutics on aim. It is fully funded at the start of its development and opti own 42% worth around £4.5-£5m...... a visible multiple increase in cash from that placing Your timelines I'm not sure about as slimbiome came to market early and we all knew lpldl would take longer because of it being a novel invention.Companies like slim fast and definitely p&g do not globally launch a product within a year or so of an agreement. It does not happen like that, tw is clearly an idiot for suggesting otherwise. The fact these companies are even interested and signing contracts with opti within 3 years of being a listed company talks huge volumes to the credibility and interest of the science by these market leaders. Your point on ii demand has no substance. This could have happened but not on the scale you or I may have wished for, however the increasing commercial progress will ultimately change this. Institutions need to invest around £2m for the threshold to be crossed making it known to the market. 1.5m bought from ysf recently at 65p. Who bought them? Big companies do not spend time and resources inventing new science. They may try to get around the patents but again this is too costly when they could buy a start up company under £400m that has already done all the leg work. They will be looking for a company that has revenues they can quickly make a significant return on through the use of their branding. A business model like opti once up and running will be a screaming takeover target. Soh has made sure the patents are overlapping and not worth the while to break. The only option will be to buy this tech.I agree it has been great news but yet the share price non responsive. I can not understand the sanity of selling nearing these lows and also when a dividend payed for your loyalty could be awarded at anytime. Strange, but I've had a plan and I will stick to it as long as the good news keeps coming. The share price should eventually follow when it becomes clearer to the market the multiple opportunity low cost model presented by opti.

Parob you are the worst culprit of ramping on this board. Ignore ignore ignore. Talkingtrades I agree with the points you have made but I'm holding on for news on the sugar product before reducing my holding significantly.

Yes Parob, you could be on to something there re TT and BB, i think TT once said he held 300K, although it is a strange way of reducing his holding by bashing the company as he does all the time, save when it goes up. If he has been selling , then that may account for some of the 10k sells, but in reality, it is hard to believe whatever he says. One thing he has got right is that there is a lack of instuitions and it might be because the share is too small and not liquid enough for them to bother with.
