10/5/2017 12:57 | I'm guessing the 73K was probably someone's stop loss being hit. | darkinbad
10/5/2017 12:53 | I wouldn't bet on it - the bears are in charge now. The market is fed up with wishy washy RNS's on 'deals' and 'partnerships' with zero outline on sales or income figures. | colinzeal
10/5/2017 12:52 | I wonder how quickly the buying will return if those two sells signal the end of the seller. Back to keeping an eye on the buys vs sells. | bobdown2
10/5/2017 12:49 | Also a trade of 73k at 59p showing up. | primal123
10/5/2017 12:44 | At 12.39 a 45k sell went through. I wonder if that is the last trade of the seller.. | bobdown2
10/5/2017 12:38 | Spike - with respect (sincerely), Is your apparent ridicule any worse than those you aimed this quote at? "As for 'don't fall in love .... etc' I can see here that this has happened, and it could not be more obvious in the 'group hug' posting 'mentality' of some here who do not question what the market is telling us." It seems to me you have a great insight into the strategy of a whole group of investors and seem privy to some significant event "the market is telling us" and we groupies remain blinkered to it. All we know is there is well heeled seller whom for whatever reason wants out. We have seen this action before around 42p to 30p. It turned out to be a distressed fund manager robbing Peter to pay paul when Paul was also losing even more money. So, at present, "the market" appears to be one seller offloading several 10k blocks a day and has been doing so for a month. Yes of course this seller has also probably caused a few stops to be triggered. How much longer do you think this can go on before the seller runs out of stock? The fact he appears to be selling even at these levels suggests to me he is fairly close to his limit and normal service may resume. In truth, like you I am speculating, I simply don't know. Furthermore, I don't really care. However, In typical Bran hindsight, I wish I had kept my powder dry and not invested more 2 weeks ago. But hey, that life. I cannot afford to be blinkered about where I put my money. I am not wealthy, If I lose my OPTI investment it has a material impact on my retirement. If there was a material and mitigating negative to OPTI's business model I would be out. Graham Hind was never in the same league as Stephen O'hara, be it business acumen, CEO skill set, investor relations or integrity. IMHO. | elrico
10/5/2017 12:34 | spike the other scenario is how long will those buying at this price hold before selling. | scotty1
10/5/2017 12:27 | Day 2 of Vitafoods. Would love to know what interest they've had so far. It's the first time they've had their actual products on display and with their manufacturer and a producer already in place distributors are much more likely to be interested. | parob
10/5/2017 12:24 | Key will be if 'mr 10k' allows this to rise and by how much, unless of course they are now going to be a buyer? | spike_1
10/5/2017 12:13 | Yeah don't buy in the 80s :) | scotty1
10/5/2017 12:08 | Bought for 62p. I think there are few lessons to be had from this fall. | bobdown2
10/5/2017 12:01 | Those that sold for the drop look to be doing the buy back phase. There looks to be buying back on the menu. | bobdown2
10/5/2017 11:56 | That was annoying my 61p kill or fill was rejected. Still happy with 5008 @ 61.89p! | parob
10/5/2017 11:56 | Tried to get a 1000. On a quote to buy. By the time a put a 61p limit on I probably missed it. That was 53 minutes past the hour. | bobdown2
10/5/2017 11:48 | Share is being played like a fiddle, watch it bounce of 60p once manipulation is done! | trotterstrading
10/5/2017 11:48 | elrico - re your: "It seems to me certain individuals are attempting to play others for fools and hope the LTH also capitulate in favour of the "wise ones" getting in again even cheaper". So who are these people you chose to ridicule? If you mean me, I have been to four OPTI events, and spoken several times to SOH. I have refrained several times from posting my concerns, but this morning did so. I take absolutely no pleasure in seeing value wiped from a share I still own, but neither could I refrain any longer from giving my opinion - wise or otherwise. Best wishes - Mike | spike_1
10/5/2017 11:47 | Just topped up at 61p!! | rafboy
10/5/2017 11:44 | Rampers not helping. | monkeywench1
10/5/2017 11:42 | Blimey, I felt quite clever the other day when I bought more @66-67 ish. John | 2350220
10/5/2017 11:41 | Added another £2k worth to my already significant holding. Paid 62p something, unbelievable price, a gift IMHO. | trotterstrading
10/5/2017 11:41 | We just take sohs word? Or we take the contracts signed by industry giants ksf, tata, sacco, csl, dsm, us consumer goods company. Look how many industry leaders are interested. I think the deal with Sacco speaks volumes about the demand. They are providing valuable space in their manufacturing facilities to make lpldl and paying opti to supply it...It's not the strain that gets patented, it's the process of developing the strain for a particular application and mechanism of action. Combine this with overlapping patents makes other strains useless for e.g cholesterol reduction in lpldls case. Other companies can find strains that work the same but they can not use them in the same way.....which makes them pretty useless as competition | riskybusiness1
10/5/2017 11:33 | El, I reckon one or more people are playing this Buying loads low and selling mid 80's thus dragging it down Then it all starts again imho | judijudi
10/5/2017 11:30 | By certain PI yardstick, pension fund managers, etc are guilty of falling in love with a stock. Why can't some people just accept some have a different strategy to investing than their short term views. I could understand the accusation if there were material mitigating circumstances. If there is, what are they? Perhaps some of us groupies are missing something? Please enlighten us oh wise ones. It seems to me certain individuals are attempting to play others for fools and hope the LTH also capitulate in favour of the "wise ones" getting in again even cheaper. | elrico |
