09/5/2017 18:21 | Yes I still.hold SBTX | talkingtrade
09/5/2017 18:20 | My bulk purchase was at 39 and 40p | talkingtrade
09/5/2017 18:20 | I still hold a small.amount of OPTI but have been reducing from the spike to 87p | talkingtrade
09/5/2017 18:15 | It seems to me that branboyd1 is a desciple of taliking trade (s) and both are influenced by what they read on the other thread in so much that they, after seemingly reading the thoughts and post's of M'mouse, question the m/cap vs revenues position, which is something he is keen to repeat whenever he does some postings. I think Elrico/Risky, who you might say are the sort of spokespeople for the company on this bb, fore warned that any RNS of the type today is NOT going to detail actual monetised information, for the reason given in their earlier postings. TT and BB choose to igore these 2 'goodies' and prefer to choose and seemingly believe the 'bad guy', which is very easy to do when the share price is down, like today. Now, 1 rabbit from the hat that Soh could produce, would be to the announce the magical letters, P & G, partner to OPTI in the USA, even without money details, the sheer mention of said MN, as Elrico says, would put some coppers on the price. | neftanikoff

09/5/2017 18:07 | Bran,I can't offer investment advice here just a more realistic view. I initially was bullish here, but comments from company in podcast, poorly worded or little detailed RNS and TW ramps made me question value. We also had an unscheduled placing when we were promised we were fully funded. Timelines have been put back and certain promised deals have not materialised or are yet to be announced. What happened to P&G, Slimfast...It's all well and good signing these collaborations but it's all based on future possible sales. The SBTX share allocation IMO poorly handled and also a stick to stop PIs (who dictate the price) selling. We were promised II demand...never happened.Conversatio | talkingtrade
09/5/2017 17:28 | I agree with you talkingtrades which is my dilemma here. If we are years away from real revenue then where do you foresee the share price in say 6 months time? And may I ask, have you decided to sell? What is your strategy here? In my view, you are one of the few genuine posters on this board whose opinion I value. | branboyd1
09/5/2017 17:11 | I've been shouted down for nearly 15 months. Not saying everything is dire but any real material revenue generation is years away. All RNS are the same with very little actual material information. There are simply better opportunities else where. | talkingtrade
09/5/2017 16:48 | Last word from me for today. If Opti had a market cap. below £5m then it'd be about right at this stage. That's why "so-called" good news is just being sold into. The company might be making ok progress (although the business model is yet to be proven) but it is massively overvalued at the current market cap. It is that simple. The company would have to announce a multi-million pound contract and give some idea of how this would impact their financials just to justify the current share price. This isn't gonna happen. It'll take many years to build substantial revenues. Good luck but see my last three posts. All imho of course. | ![]() michaelmouse
09/5/2017 16:45 | It'll ping back up the way again tomorrow. So, no worries. | ![]() dogwalker
09/5/2017 16:38 | Cash burn will also be a lot higher than expected I'd guess. Certainly another cash raise is very possible imo that would greatly add to the share price woes. Chart looks like 40p first stop then lower. Anyway, it's aimho, don't lose any sleep over it if you're a holder ;) | ![]() michaelmouse
09/5/2017 16:36 | Alas, what a turn around on the day, up 3 and now down to sell at 64. A swing of about 6p on the debit side. You can say good news to come but we have had good news, which is always greeted with apathy. I think you can tell with these rns's if they are to have any impact, as soon as they are announced. For example todays was greeted with little response on here, just a few holders saying predictably how good it was, not saying it wasn't. And of course others with less complimetary things to say. And f course, the mm's push it up a little and then as the day progresses, the gains are eaten into and we are left with a 64 bid. And we are left as a poster has said for SOH to pull some kind of rabbit out of his hat. | neftanikoff
09/5/2017 16:33 | Though I've already got these in my ISA and SIPP, I thought that I'd open a £15 spreadbet with Corespreads, but was declined. It said that this is for closing any existing positions only. John | ![]() 2350220
09/5/2017 16:31 | Only joking about wanting the chartists view. Most are one sandwich short of a picnic or should I say one doji short of a candlestick pattern :). | ![]() michaelmouse
09/5/2017 16:27 | How's today's news gone down? LOL. Seriously though, I've been thinking about what will cause the final 4d like capitulation in the share price. My guess is a combination of the SBTX "free shares" debacle (any news now will not be received well - see my earlier posts) and investors surprised at how little they'll report in revenues at the interim and final results. Perhaps the chartists could point out the similarities between 4d's chart shortly before capitulation and Opti's? | ![]() michaelmouse
09/5/2017 16:27 | I think the problem at the moment is not with trades that are shown (quite light volume really)., but more there is still some background selling going on. It takes an awful lot of buys to move us north and barely any sells to move us south!!We really need some institutions to buy out YSF or we could be bound in this range for the foreseeable- despite all the positive RNS's that will undoubtedly come! I have a feeling the pressure will be released again at 60p ish which I would expect will be bought heavily into, but they appear to have been relentlessly offloading! Where are all these institutions that SOH speaks of? | ![]() f3rdinand
09/5/2017 16:18 | I am snapping up a few more at these prices, more good news to come. DIAMOND. | ![]() diamond fibre
09/5/2017 16:04 | All relevant news out.Like I said same old RNS with no material detail.Market had enough... | talkingtrade
09/5/2017 15:43 | Investors are deserting OPTI in their droves; it appears only LTHs are left. | branboyd1
