Not true either...completely safe? My experience found that just wasn’t so. But lowers bp by 5.1% and cholesterol 13.9%? Yes, it does, according to Opti , but that is not much help if your bp is 180/100- 5.1%= 170/95...way too high! Do the maths! The Figures don’t attract the NHS or the medical world!

Btw, if your cholesterol is, say 7, take 13.9% away from that, only drops it to 6! Ideally it should be around 3.5?

So if 4d can’t get their stuff through phase 1/2/3, then it means good news for Opti?!!

Slarty, you need some help and so will Opti if 4d fails! Blocked and no exit, because the otc route is crowded and needs cash in large amounts to get its products on supermarket shelves!

PMSL, 4D having a punt so should OPTI. FFS, its cost 4D PIs £167m and 60% dilution for the punting. They need another placing before Q1 21. OPTI is generating cash, will be profitable this year and all for a whopping £7m and it has £9m in SBTX. You really couldn't make this up. This is basic stuff yet confuses so many. BTW, what do you think will happen to 4D if 1 of the phase 3's fail? Back to £10 or 10p?

Manc, i was spitroasted by your mate. You manc's stick together like thieves. lol

Ie, Holland and Barrett stuff...and it’s not regulated or cheap.

So you buy it online and then visit a pharmacy to check it for side effects? But he/they won’t know, because it hasn’t been through phase 1/2/3 trials..so tells you to read the instructions or see your dr...I’m pretty sure he’ll say don’t touch.

Prescription only drugs are only available with a valid prescription from a prescriber. These drugs are heavily regulated and require a visit to a prescriber, a diagnosis and monitoring by a prescriber to ensure the medication is working and that it is working safely. Prescription drugs are intended for use by one individual patient to treat a specific condition and when starting the medication each patient is legally entitled to speak with a pharmacist about the drug. Prescription drugs must pass through many clinical trial phases, approval by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and monitored for safety and side effects even after the drug is on the market. Over-the-counter drugs are available for purchase without a prescription and can be purchased right off the shelves at a store - without a visit to a prescriber or consultation with a pharmacist. OTC medications are not intended for a specific individual, although depending on the medication, such as creams, eye drops or nasal sprays, the user may want to be the only consumer of the medication. OTC drugs are monitored by the FDA, but it is not as strict as the process prescription drugs must go through. Manufacturers are required to make drugs only based on a specific formula with regards to the strength of the drug and they must have FDA approved labeling and FDA specific dosage to be on the market. Although OTC drugs are available without consulting with a prescriber or pharmacist, the patient needs to be aware these drugs still carry a risk. Some OTC drugs could cause drug interactions with prescription medications or cause more adverse effects. It is important to mention to a prescriber or pharmacist about all of the OTC drugs being used and to follow the recommended dosing instructions on the label.
