Speccy1 wouldn't the 'cautious investors' have top sliced a week ago to buy SBTX before it hots up? I have too much expectations of news flow and updates to be concerned with reducing my holding now. If i wasn't familiar with OPTI i would be looking to buy because the midas article suggest there is more to come and the company is at the start of something. I though it was upbeat. Like Parob says, its been a month without and rns, long over due. Don't forget the big hit from SOH in his interview, he warned about the perils of selling now.

I'm intrigued by the timing of this article. Just at the point MMs are getting desperate for shares, out comes an article conveniently saying "Cautious investors may choose to sell down their holdings and take some profit".

MIDAS bills itself as a share tips site - so there must be some expectation people will follow the tip, despite there being no mention of a sizable divi on the horizon proportionate to the number of OPTI shares held.

How can you suggest people may top-slice without mentioning that?

During the recent IQE "shorter wars" articles appeared in the Sunday press paying credence to dodgy reports just around the time the shorters were about to take their positions, and it helped them out enormously. Coincidence?

Maybe I'm just overly cynical, but when I see an article suggesting people top-slice without mentioning the potential negative impact on their divi, I can't help wonder if these articles aren't designed to help the MMs more than the investors...
