18/7/2018 09:40 | Might be different for Spreadex but IG said they won't be affected if they were opened before August 1st. A fair point though John and good info for the board. I'd therefore encourage anyone who has a spread bet open to check with their respective providers to avoid having their pants pulled down - you don't want to be closed out for lack of funds when OPTI is just heating up. | colinzeal
18/7/2018 09:31 | Hi colinzeal, When I phoned Spreadex, the girl assured me that my longer dated contracts Won't be affected till their rollover dates. All of my Opti S/Bs are December, or lately some March positions. If you've taken out the Daily rollovers, then they Will be affected straight away when the rules change (think that's on 1st August). That's what she told me, at any rate. I'm hopeful that all of our S/Bs will be in much more profit by then anyway. John | 2350220
18/7/2018 09:28 | He's back. What an embarrassing person. Ah we can laugh as we're all invested in one of the most exciting newest areas in healthcare with great management, deals that are launching products thus revenues and plenty of cash in the bank.By the way Opti license their technology so that the partners invest in the regulatory hurdles. Read the Akums deal as a starter you won't sound so ridiculously stupid.Plenty of cash in the bank before 19 deals of varying value come on line (which is only the start). Some will fail but others will thrive as happens in business. It really is stupid how you've tried to bash this share rather than buy in all this time. Shares don't go up in straight lines especially pre commercial. What's your views on Nigel Wray looking to buy in? He clearly does not have the same view as you. Or the new chairman who was on the Morrison board putting his holding up to £250k buying more over 10% higher than his first tranch. Not to mention the chairman Neil Davidson and The new R&D director also agreeing to get their options at double the current price. Your SBTX comment shows how much of an amateur you are mouse. The RNS today is in essence saying everything is going swimmingly to commence human trials as expected. You have limited knowledge and have been a disgrace these past few years. | riskybusiness1
18/7/2018 09:21 | From SOH:"Provisional Ethics approval for SkinBiotherapeutics human studyThis is good news for OptiBiotix shareholders as the SBTX mkt cap has increased to £16m and we own 42% (£6.7m). As we get nearer to and complete the human studies there is potential for even greater uplift in value of SBTX." | primal123
18/7/2018 09:15 | Good point. For anyone that has an exisitng spread bet that was opened before August 1st this will not be affected by ESMA (i.e. the increase in margin). You'll therefore be on the original margin requirements if it was opened before 1st August no matter when you choose to close it. | colinzeal
18/7/2018 09:08 | Michellemouse - I see the cool exterior you try to portray has slipped a little more than usual. ;) I was about to say the TRAKM8-gate incident was nicely ducked, thinking nobody noticed it....until Sienna popped. No doubt another alias of mine. Off to kiss myself in the mirror....sorry for that image Sienna. ;) | elrico
18/7/2018 09:04 | There's been nowhere near enough sells over the past few days to fill the orders that are in. I suspect those 30k chunks could even be the buyer trying to drive it down and panic sellers. As Elrico said in his article though we do want these bigger players on board as they will be stronger hands over the coming months. S | shrewdmole
18/7/2018 08:50 | Definitely Parob, we know there is still strong demand for shares. Orders were still not filled yesterday. | primal123
18/7/2018 08:48 | The mm's are up to tricks again. That 5K @ 81.1p is my buy. Now 82.9p for 5K. | parob
18/7/2018 08:45 | Other do not know what is coming. They think they know. Big difference. | monkeywench1
18/7/2018 08:45 | Hi Nobby, Never worry about taking a profit... we've both been there eh? ;) All the best and Regards to all. Mr D | mr dexy
18/7/2018 08:42 | Nobby - up to you what you do. LTH's know what's coming here. Your a trader. The share price will follow as we are building a solid business. | primal123
18/7/2018 08:42 | The day is young and you can sell 25K for 81.31p currently.I reckon we have another large buy order being worked. | parob
18/7/2018 08:37 | Seems like my sale was well timed.....despite all the stick I got. Yes I know I bought half back.... | nobbygnome
18/7/2018 08:31 | Robo - be aware the margins on SB increase in August from 20% to 50% for retail clients. So don't over stretch in case you need to cough up the other 30% margin. | elrico
18/7/2018 08:28 | Sp down. Come on rampers do your thing. | monkeywench1
18/7/2018 08:27 | "so it is very difficult to see what could cause a precipitate collapse." Stuff that you've never even considered yet Nobby e.g. anticipated revenues and profits never materialize, contracts are cancelled, scare stories in the press re:products, bear market (shares are hugely overvalued), big fundraise to try and push forward in pharma, SOH knocked down by a bus etc. It might just be a gradual decline over months and years as the jam never arrives. I see you've already sold some anyway (main thread)? If I truly believe a company is on the right track then I don't sell a single share and accumulate when the shares are cheap. Anyway, figures are needed. So bye for now. | michaelmouse
18/7/2018 08:26 | Michellemouse - Why invite me to debate TRAKM8 on said BB if you had no intention to engage in the first instance. My query was addressed to you, nobody else. Yet another deception from one of the most untrustworthy trolls on ADVFN. You show yourself up on so many levels....all good fun though and no doubt you will be warning us all of the "cold winter" at £5 in two years. Yes, you can quote me on this. | elrico
18/7/2018 08:03 | Just for all the sensitive people here 😜, I bought back half the shares I sold yesterday as a spreadbet this morning. Yes I paid slightly more but the gains will now be CGT free.... | nobbygnome
18/7/2018 07:43 | In the comments section people are crying out for the Seed product to be shipped to other parts of the world outside of the US. | parob
18/7/2018 07:42 | With all due respect IMM and N4P are absolutely nothing like OPTI. Their value in the short term was based largely on one drug and when that drug failed, they plummeted. Even you must acknowledge that OPTI have multiple irons in the fire so it is very difficult to see what could cause a precipitate collapse. Nobby | nobbygnome
18/7/2018 07:40 | SRT whilst not related to Opti is another jam tomorrow stock that is going to plunge today. Valued at over £40m last night (plain daft), but has just had a massive contract cancelled and will report revenues of around £5m this year and losses of around £4m. Beware, Opti will undoubtedly see contracts cancelled as products enter a hugely competitive market and partners drop them like a ton of bricks, and that's possibly before they reach any meaningful revenues. First warning signs from SBTX this morning. "Full approval will be granted on completion of procedural amendments to the study paperwork which are underway." Many, many, many regulatory hurdles await, and now Opti have entered pharma they'll face the same. Oh dear! | michaelmouse |
