I converted the placing shares to a spreadbet around 70p the week before last for exactly the same reason because I don't want to pay CGT. Generally speaking I don't know why anyone buys real shares any more except in an ISA or SIPP. If you think you are going to make a reasonable amount of money (and after all that is the point), then spreadbets are the obvious vehicle to use.

I will remind you I still own a substantial holding here so don't start casting me as a basher. I just think that sometimes it is prudent to take profit.

Shrewdie. Just watched it myself and agree he is very confident that the pipeline is strong and the deals they are doing are making other corporates aware of Opti and wanting to talk to them. US pharma deal would be massive

Only just had chance to watch the soh interview from yesterday.

Unbelievably bullish, lots of new deals in pipeline, Tata launch close, supermarket deal close.

Seed and hlh have re ordered.

Last 2 sentences...
Exponential growth in revenues through 2019
And
The future is just beginning.

Sounds very very confident.

Just wish I had some more spare money, moving house this week and nearly spent my furniture budget on some more shares today, don't think it would impress the ladies me sat on the floor talking about shares lol. Will get some SBTX next . Enjoying this opti journey I randomly stumbled upon though I have to say!!

Things don't add up. You were included in the recent placing yet having sold 15% you only hold spreads now.

Robo - not advice at all but I can see Opti dragging Sbtx up on its journey as new investors do more dd into Opti. When Opti hits £1 Sbtx will probably be 20-22p.

Just by association.

Parob - I can see some real games in the 80-90p region as the big boys want in. IF people sit tight that range could go very quickly if they don't get the sell volume they need.

OPTI is a great share with much more to come. However, I do have some SBTX shares as on successful completion of the human skin trials I expect the share price there to increase by a large margin. That said I would not sell OPTI to buy more SBTX.

I agree , some great posts by many ! Pretty new to all this and I'm still learning, I was wondering if it would be a good idea to split my money as I'm doing very nicely with opti , and put half in SBTX, but if opti own nearly half would there be any point ?Thoughts anyone?

Very happy with how this is progressing now. Been here for 2+yrs and it’s been extremely frustrating to say the least. I’ve never researched a company as extensively as I have OPTI and feel this is the beginning of something huge and exciting. Some great posters here, Elrico, Parob, shrewd amongst others - keep up the good work and pls continue sharing insights.

Personally very curious and excited about our ‘healthy alternative to bulk sugar’ - I mean, wow! This could be something.

Very pleased with my investment. Only been in for a few months but being very interested in health OPTI seemed an ideal investment for my SIPP. OPTI is the future along with VRS.

Degenerates like MM, monkey, Vanduke & rayrac make me laugh. Spending their lives on internet forums hating on shares they’re not invested in. Some grade A loser lives they must live.

Hello Michellemouse....I was missing you to be fair. I'm right pleased you have returned, just in time for the move up and out of the 2 year stagnation period.

Shall we get the prelims out of the way. N4 was a trade for me at 18.5p, sold at 25.60p as declared to close associates. But let me not be accused of being a Walter Mitty type...I made a mere £625 via a SB.

Now whats this new spoiler tactic employed by the master of misinformation. Comparing IMM and N4, both pharma, both in the process of risky drug and reformulation trials. You can't compare those with OPTI, which has 4 different platforms all of which have been VALIDATED to the equivalent of phaseII pharma, which means any pharma deal would go straight phase3, saving any pharma partner somewhere in the order of 6-8 years R&D and millions in costs, not say minimize share dilution.

The placing you bang on about was technically correct, but as you know, but avoid admitting, was NOT for the reason you pontificated. OPTI had ample funds to them through to profitability later this year. The placing was as you well know, was to fast track a pharma opportunity and facilitate production upgrade for said facility due to regulatory hurdles.

Csh guzzling stands at a mere £900k pa and reducing, which £2+m in the bank TODAY, how long do you expect the cash to last.....given your original bailout placing was out by c18 months, I imagine you will be light years out on the next.

OPTI currently have 19 commercial agreement across all parts of the value chain, and more and much bigger in the pipeline. Seriously, with the evidence of low cash burn, partner picking significant parts of the bill to commercial and the biggest risk while OPTI sit back - only a blinkered individual could fail to see real value. Bad enough on its own, but to wast 3 years talking oneself out of what is looking to be the safest AIM bet seen in decades is like wearing a neon sign saying I hate value, I hug the frauds and the companies that cook the books and pay out divi's when they don't have the funds....these remain unanswered even on the TRAKM8 thread and AFTER you invited me to do so. Tut tut....not cricket. You clearly set me up to appear a basher, a dirty sneaky trick.

Where's Enrico btw, I went onto his blog to try and search for his N4P article and noticed that he looked not dissimilar to Harold Shipman. Anybody else think the same?
Anyway if anybody sees Eric please tell him his blog is too cluttered and concentrates too much on Opti, it's poorly written, confusing and I won't be popping in again. Apart from that well done Harold!! I mean Eric. ;)

This was a classic:-

someuwin:-

"O/T

I mentioned N4 Pharma last year on this board. It was part of ONZ then but now has its own listing LSE:N4P

Reminds me a lot of OPTI when it listed...

Both companies are set up by CEO's with a lot of pharma experience and who have set up similar comapnies before.

Both are exploiting alternative paths to getting new health products to market quickly and cheaply.

Both are operating a virtual company model by outsourcing all the heavy lifting.

Both are reducing risk by pursuing multiple end products.

Both are / were valued at around £6m at floatation.

...OPTI went on to 10 bag in the first 18 months. I see no reason why N4P can't do equally as well.

Well worth a bit of research imo."

Let's hope Opti doesn't crash and burn shall we.

It's hysterical stuff :)
