Exactly shrewd, we have had 9 deals in 4 months. These are pretty significant deals and the market needs to wake up to them as the money in coming in NOW!

Nobby - exactly, if you wait for the big banner of 'look what we've earnt' you've missed the boat. If you can add '2+2' then you will be well rewarded.

Can't believe people are still banging on about wanting more news when the trading is showing a massive buy signal!!

Very interesting presentation. Although there are still uncertainties, I don't see how the bashers can defend their positions unless of course he is outright lying. It is only a matter of time before substantial revenues start flowing but from which of the deals and precisely when are not yet clear.

Neil Davidson adding another £100k odd at 15% higher than his last chunk. Extremely bullish sign. Loved that video especially at the end with SOH getting questioned. He pretty much says it how it is and saying he does not guess especially at this stage but if you can add 2+2 together you should be able to work out a rough guesstimate for yourself. Simply put buy now or pay higher later.

Suzy - I'm not sure what you're asking me? Are you wondering if a probiotic powers will be made available, and or pill, like Seed?

I guess the opportunities are endless, I would guess its about market opportunity and find the right partners for the products. There will be a mix of new and existing tweaked products, incorporating OPTI IP. All takes time and I'm unsure what the company priorities are.

I'm sure some of the queries I put to the BOD get a blank look...you should know better boy!!

So I'm a bit obsessed with this biome stuff. I take a spoonful of a powder every day mixed with yoghurt or other food. Unfortunately it's sold by Natures Aid in Holland and Barrett.... Nutrigut- C. £20 a jar. I feel it's a shame opti haven't (yet) gone down that route ... I for one would be a monthly buyer. Elrico have you heard anything along these lines ....

Neither myself or the audience gave Steve O'Hara of Optibiotix (OPTI) an easy ride at Monday's UK Investor event in the City. But he presented well and I note that the chairman has today announced the purchase of £150,000 of shares at 71p. Watch Steve closely and you will see why the chairman is buying and why the shares - which are our largest holding but one we have added to in the past couple of months - are so cheap

So we can expect interims to be at least 30 days from now.Chances are the board know exactly how things went up to 31 May but now have to keep them under wraps for a further period.

Robo - my understanding is that directors cannot deal when they are in possession of price sensitive information likely to have a material impact on the share price of the stock in question. This has no specific time period attached to it though.

Plus they cannot deal in the period of 30 calendar days before the announcement of interim financial results or a year end results. I think this is where you are getting the 'month' thing from.

So effectively there's no effect on news flow from this particular director buying - anything 'new' could drop anytime.

I thought director and company insiders were not allowed to buy shares less than a month prior to news RNS, deals/ inside information, maybe this buy this morning was him getting in quick before something big drops, correct me if I'm wrong anyone????

News comes when news comes - that is the nature of news.

If OPTI are informed a deal has completed today then we'll get an RNS tomorrow. (And as OPTI have more and more irons in the fire the likelihood of deals landing is increasing all the time.)

The timing of the director's buy is immaterial to such news flow, and is probably dictated by the fact that they are about to enter the interim results close period.
